he didn't announce any other deals but t1 and drx are nearly done with rosters, although drx could possibly sign him
the only reason I think DRX would sign him is only because they still haven't signed athan and mako also said he wanted an older brother on the team, which lakia could be.

only if all this speculation is false, then lakia really won't be in tier 1 valorant again this year

imo pretty sad but it'll be nice to maybe see him help develop DplusKia or IAM and even promote them in ascension like he almost did in 2023 ascension with DplusKIA.

you can just piece it together i havent had someone tell me but FrosT and others have said specifically they have scrimmed lakia trialing for a cn team and most of the china rosters are set atp but blg is looking for an igl, has money, and has made an international its pretty likely lakia is trialing for them as an igl no other teams really make much sense

The skye nerfs were definitely a massive blow to his agent pool but he's easily still good enough for apac tier 1. Recon initiators are generally expected to preform worse than the other roles anyway, so I feel like acting as though he's just going to be a drag on whatever korean roster he finds himself on next is a bit unfair.

They have little util they can use for themselves, esp sova. Duelists are duelists flash initiators have flashes that you can use for yourselves. Sentinels the entire point on defense is you use all your util to solo a site for yourself. even controllers have selfish util (omen blind, astra can suck for herself, etc.) fade and sova don't really have that other than basically fade tether and their ults

most of the time on attack and retake, initiator util is being used after controller and sentinel util has been used, meaning that they're less likely to be directly taking part in the big gunfights that occur during executes, which tends to lead to lower kills and damage per round. Fade probably struggles with this more than sova since her util tends to come out a bit slower.

edit: shock darts help as well
