Munchkin is igling + it's very hard to tell right now but from what we've seen of T1 so far they're either gonna dominate or throw, no in between + only 2 teams in Pacific are making Bangkok so it's gonna be tough but they can probably make it + idk

yoman is replacing lakia as co-igl and intiator (upgrade)
foxy9 is replacing meteor as sentinel (downgrade, but because meteor is just too good)

i agree meteor used to step up and support the team in fragging when texture and karon were struggling plus i think the synergy of that team was more.Just need to wait for regular season to start they might be more synchronized in their plays

Yoman is there to replace Lakia which is an upgrade in my book, and foxy will be replacing meteor which of course is a downgrade, but overall its not that bad IMO

Name a Korean player that is available which is an upgrade for Meteor. There's none. Meteor wanted to leave for the bag its as simple as that.

The thing is if geng really wanted to pay money for a good player, freeing was there. Hes better than foxy9 but not as good as meteor. But it's clear geng wanted to lower their budget for the upcoming season, otherwise they would have held on to meteor no matter what the cost was.

The thing was freeing would have become more expensive if geng had to compete with drx for freeing to join. That's probably why geng went for foxy9 instead.

yeah, he only stated they had no issues financially, doesn’t mean they can afford how much meteor asked for. They likely have a budget and meteors ask price went over the budget. Not to mention, Karon, t3, and munchkin all got the bag

I think that Meteor is a much bigger loss, and top 5 korean players, so I think that no player rn is an upgrade
