yeah and this is not exactly the same but look at GENG in the off season last year and then see how they grew as a team and individuals throughout the season. I think if there is a coaching staff that can turn foxy into a top tier player its Solo and Hsk
i get it especially after this disasterclass but i believe foxy has a high ceiling on sentinel but its not there yet obviously Im still willing to give him more time
seems a bit overeactive, yoman is solid, and foxy is playing new role. i don't think they will keep playing foxy on astra anymore though

They are very good from what i saw, and if everyone shoots like they did vs DRX they look very scary
Yoman is there to replace Lakia which is an upgrade in my book, and foxy will be replacing meteor which of course is a downgrade, but overall its not that bad IMO
W pickup imo although would’ve prefer to see him at drx but i guess Yoman will take over the IGL role when Munchkin leaves for military service at the end of 2025

Yes i understand, but i can also understand where the frustration comes from even though i dont 100% agree with it but i just thought it’ll be better to shift to focus of this thread as it seemed like it was just going to be a very toxic one and for very dumb reasons if u ask me :)
Well if the Thai Tier 2 scene’s viewership has dropped since being sold to SOOP, then it's definitely concerning (and im sorry to hear that), but I think it’s important to remember that this decision was likely made to keep the competitive scene alive in the first place. If the region doesn’t have enough resources or sponsorships to support itself, this might be one of the few ways to make sure it’s financially feasible to even have the thai or sea league running in the first place.
I totally understand that viewership is crucial to building a fanbase and scene, but if the choice is between no competitive scene or trying something like this to keep it afloat, I think it's worth prioritizing the latter. Maybe it's not perfect now, but it could help ensure the scene has a chance to grow and recover in the future. You know? But i get the frustration.
This entire thread seems to be extremely emotionally driven. I think its better to look at this more objectively and talk about the real issue… if this deal is financially driven which it seems like it is, if the sea region doesn’t have enough sponsorship, commercial deals to stay afloat then this deal with Soop is maybe the one the fill the gap. riot games is also probably looking for long term sustainable and whats best for the regions esport health. If this deal can provide the financial and infrastructural support necessary to grow the sea region, its probably a strategic sacrifice in the short term for the greater good of the competitive scene. Instead of looking at this as a move that prioritizes one region over another, it might be more productive to consider how it could actually help SEA esports build up the resources it needs to thrive long term
