days. He was benched two games into the team's Masters Tokyo campaign, and would not see the stage at Champions Los Angeles.
Foxy9 stayed on DRX for 2024, a tumultuous season for the team that saw them shuffle their roster and depart with longtime player stax . He was most known for playing the Duelist role heading into the year, but took on the Sentinel role, playing Killjoy and Cypher more. As the season progressed, his agent pool expanded to include Initiators such as Breach, KAY/O, and Gekko.
With mid-year roster turnover and a changing meta, DRX did not qualify for an international event until Champions Seoul, where they finished 5th-6th.
Foxy9 joins a Gen.G team that had a dominant 2024 season which ended in a disappointing group stage elimination at Champions. They held onto core pieces t3xture , Karon , and Munchkin while signing Korean tier-two player yoman .
Gen.G are set to compete at the TEN Valorant Asia Invitational and then the Gwangju Esports Series Asia 2024 in the offseason before the end of the calendar year.
