Imagine if he doesnt even play next year, omg i would be so sad :(

This comes as a lesson thou. Players should stop signing more than one year contracts.

I think its circumstantial tbh longer contracts give you a bit more stability, but you are right, if you are someone like aspas who is in such high demand 1 year contracts might be the way to go

its tough, because, when Aspas signing this actual contract, subjects appeared informing that LEV offer profits from sales of his products in Brazil. It's a good look, because, HE IS ASPAS, he needed a good year for a BIG PROFIT.

Can any teams justify the cost though. Aspas had a super team star player contract. That comes with a massive fucking buyout. Enough of a buy out that rumors on the street was it was enough to cover the massive fucking buyout NRG had on Demon1 (baring in mind Demon1 also signed a super team star player contract which probably had the buyout to suit)

The reason it was Bleed Aspas is Bleed were the only ones who could buy out a contract that big (well at least they said they could....)

"Imagine if he doesnt even play next year" this will not happen.

LEV will either use him as a duelist or sell him because if they keep him on the bench for the next year they will only lose, they will get a lot of haters + they will lose money paying Aspas salary despite Aspas only bringing haters to the team.

Even if LEV has to sell Aspas for like 50k its still a win for LEV.

Keeping Aspas on the bench will only bring loss to the team.

His problems are with management not the players lol

Yeah i guess eventually they would be forced to lower his buyout because theres no way he plays for them theres no vibes for that anymore bro is literally desperate do leave

Really depends on what Aspas cost them to hold onto though, if a big part of his contract was re-share related to him then it's possible the base salary is still small enough to ride the bench in the content world if he doesn't want to play. If your weighing up the maths on capital losses does less buyout with more potential market loss (lower expected placing if you sell him to someone decent who would be competing with you, lower digital goods revenue) weigh up to be less than 1 year of Aspas base salary since the rev share stuff from rumors is only Aspas based revenue anyway (brazilian market)

his salary is 60k dol a month.

that number was leaked .

It makes them look bad. What kind of star player would want to play for a team that held the (arguably) best player in the world atm on bench because of a buyout fee? If LEV can learn from football... It never gets good if you hold a player like this (look at PSG x M'bappe situation ffs)

yeah lev should just lower his buyout if they have no choice. harsh reality of esports

Any star player from South America's Tier 2 that can't get a spot on KRU and doesn't win ascension

I know this is a little far fetched, but since LEV was gonna get Demon1 from the buyout money from Bleed (which they wont get), is there a world where NRG and LEV just swap Aspas for Demon1. This would royally fuck over mada, but NRG would have a crazy team.

As for mada, he could maybe return to LEV as it seems this was where he was going before NRG, but also, there are some rumours that Ethan might not continue with NRG (idk how much validity there is to those rumours), but if thats the case, mada might stay as the flex

I know this is a lot of speculation, but I just think that the possibility of this happening is kinda crazy

anonimotum gonna get fucked over if this happens 😭

NRG Aspas would be interesting tbh because then they would have

world class duelist
really good IGL
world class support players (s0m and Ethan)

NRG this year couldnt use Demon1 properly because they were lacking an IGL. FNS is not only a good IGL but also is very familiar with Aspas' playstyle so this should work perfectly (although we shouldnt underastimate the NRG choke gene)

I thought Mada was best pickup they could get.. now NRG fans want to trade him for ASPAS?

Btw, I DONT want for that to happen, although it’s obvious that NRG aspas would go crazy. But yeah I do think mada is very good

Low skill: sign multi-year contracts to play it safe and make the most out of your esports career

Mid skill: sign 1 year contracts because everyone's gonna want you and you can jump ship easily in order to choose winning rosters which will only pad out your resume for higher salaries

High skill: sign multi-year contracts because you're so good that teams will pay your buyout anyways

Tf you mean contract jail brother. This is starting to get out of hand. He wants to force his way of of LEV for no logical reason and LEV is allowing him to go anywhere he wants as long as someone pays the buyout they both agreed on. Aspas knew very well what his buyout was when he forced himself out how tf is that a jail?

Let's be fucking for real

i mean not wanting to be in a place you are now forced to be unless the organization that keeps you there sets you free sounds pretty jail-like to me

eventually they will be forced to let him go so i guess it doesnt matter

also tf you mean "no logical reason" you know nothing about his reasonings my guy

Oh really? The every single player in the world is contract jailed by that logic
