You guys still hate ge even after seeing what's going on and what they are doing for the scene

Our finest talent got out in first stage of tryouts
Now rnt performance at ascension
You guys still want ge to go with more indian plyrs when they are clearly not capable
Ge getting a academy team of 5 Indians with seperate, good coach is not enough??

its similar to CN rn. u need imports to develop ur scene and only then u can hope ur indian lineup performs

Lots of indian fans don't understand this.
They want ge to be removed from franchise, but dont think that once there is no indian org in vct, val will die in India. Cause our progress rate is so slow and domestic org can't support for long especially after such performance

why we still underestimating cn bro. nothing against india's val scene. but i dont think cn is that bad. the tier 1 scene doesnt really need imports. its just the tier 2 scene as they just wanna quickly get in and they trust tried and vetran players than people who havent really had much experience

You are so right,
Even if GE hire 5 Indians they will get hate for not performing and then the same people will threaten them and our gaming audience behaves like kids, so immature

#5

The point here is we know indian plyrs are not capable.
Atleast support the only org representing the country by buying the bundle and dont judge who they sign so early.
No other org fans whose coaches has been leaked behaved like our audience.

That's the only reason why I support GE without expecting anything
Russ was really good and still Indians abused him for his performance in 2022, such a childish behavior from them

#8

It was not that people hated russ, it was more like people expected better players than russ to be signed by GE.

At the end, russ ended up being the best plyr for the this season. Why to judge so early.

if they played core of 3 indian players or more from the start maybe we had decent 5 player who could compete in t2

What makes you so sure, don't you see our plyrs and teams progress. It is so low or nil. Rossi played decent amnt of matches at t1 last year only to underperform at t2.
You are still not confident on indian plyrs. There is no gurantee that we will even have 2 plyrs who can do good in t2

It's understandable when you say don't hate the org and players but don't expect us to buy bundle and support the org just for being a Indian org.

Let's people decide who they wanna support.

Bruh then why you expect them to buy expensive plyrs and coach when you can't support them financially.
a normal roster cost around 2 million dollars to operate. How much a good one on paper will cost you guys have any idea??

#23

So we are responsible for financing the org? I guess the success behind GENG performance is 2 million from the fans.

Also I couldn't care less about what Ge does with the roster when they are not even our representative.

You guys think geng is same as ge?
Geng are way older and bigger than ge
If you guys think that ge ia rich asf pls come out of that delusion.
Forget ge, there is hardly any org in India who can bear franchise expenses, let alone making a good roster
Your support not only help them financially but help them to grow.
You say you don't care about the roster yet I see your comments on thread related to ge

Ig what GE 2023 should hv done take 5 Indian Import lineUp (best of best)
Then Indians/GE can see where 5 Indians stand (might be last, but it would give clear pic)
And then proceed to replace them by imports
Like GE 2024 3/2 Indians

And then depending upon growth no. of Indians in GE should be decided for GE 2025,
This could be the fastest way to develop and Motivate Indian scene

The benefit of taking 5 Indians in 2023, would really calm the fans demanding for full Indian roster and also give decent international experience to Those chosen 5

Bro there is nothing ge can do when indian plyrs growth rate is so low. Rnt despite bootcamping in Thailand for almost 2 months delivered this performance.
What is the guarantee that indian plyrs will improve when the past data clearly shows our improvement rate?
Also it is quite visible where 5 indian stands when they can't even win in vcl sa

More and more chance
GE fumbled the scene initially by not taking more Indians
This also struck them financially as they had to buyout texture, monyet, Ayrin import sal, Bazzi

2023 was so dead for Indian Valo just coz GE suddenly abandoned, India, Viewership dies too.

Growth rate can only increase if u push the scene INITIALLY dats all wat am I saying

China has their own Franchise system and dats y they r getting so good and so fast,

Bro atleast there has to be some spark. Only techno remain in tryouts process and other got eliminated early including venka.
First let indian plyr prove themselves at t2, or else we will witness another lf and Rossi at t1
It's not like no indian plyr played at t1 level for decent amt if time.
And if you guys say that Rossi is not finest then see the stats, he is still farming sa

#15

If I had a call:

GE 2023: (Venka, Techno didn't have much impact in 2022)
SkRossi
LF
DM
Rawfiul
Hellf (IGL)

Depending upon Individual performance (take top 2, doesn't matter who it is, go by teamplay and stats):

GE 2024:

Russ
BlaZeking
(Best 2 performer from 2023)
Benkai

(In mid split IF Indians r underperforming, replace them with imports: Polvi or any1)

GE 2025:

Now u have 3-4 VCT + VCSA exp pros + Venka, Techno

Now cook ur lineUp with imports as per 2 years performance
U can also have 1 Indians
No one will cry for 5 Indians as we already did dat and it didn't worked

Or 2nd scenario:

Should have a GE Academy since 2023:
But ig Riot didn't allow it in 2023

No point in forcing venka and techno in main lineup when they can't make it from open tryouts where fair opportunity is being given to them to try.
Venka, techno in academy team is good.
Currently there is hardly any indian plyr who is capable of making it to final stage of the tryouts.

Techno is still in tryouts I heard and Venka also had good run,
And yes dats what I am trying to say bro
IF GE SUPORTED INDIA FULLY in 2023, situation would be better

And If fair opportunities r given, then I hope GE will cook crazy lineUp as XAN dropped 39 and is good Fragger
And YESicaN is obv Goated
But idk how player like MarkL sneaked in b/w such heavy aimers
Hope Juv3nile doesn't do spin 2.0😭

Bro in 2023 , the approach was not bad, it's just other things like language issue and roles issues , the roster failed
They wanted to retain the roster but lacked the finances
This time , they gave spin , big time and hellranger chance to make the roster which didn't worked out
Now they are going for much fair and better approach
Why not support them by buying the bundle.
You guys think there new coach is cheap?
This time they are spending even more money and time, still you guys hate and dont support them

#26

I gave the reasoning well, why 2023 approach was bad and I am not even talking about the results doesn't matter their ranking, just read the reasonings
Im here justifying their contribution to Initial growth of Indian Valorant,

There r multiple reasons y GE is hated, and their financial constraints are a clear side effect of their over spending in 2023

Also pls watch the coach profile well.
Half of the guys don't even bother to see the profile and just focused on him being the assistant coach
And if venka and techno do well, they will be selected thats it

Ig u r not getting my point bro so let's leave it,
I'm not asking to take Venka or Techno,
All am I saying if things were done correctly we would be having 5-7 Venka-Technos in VCSA
Which would inturn produce a superior Venka Techno

There was no guarantee that would have happened
Our indian plyr pool was bad for first 2 years.
This time we got some good plyrs

Those who have had hopes in past never followed the CS scene in south asia. Almost every Indian and Pakistani is an ex-CS pro, who failed to win even a single ESL India tourney. It was won every time by a team from Dubai (Risky gaming) which was later known as NASR. The competition level was so low that SEA teams were not even interested in participating for basically free cash.

You are expecting the same players to change their work ethic, laid back attitude and switching teams for same result next year to perform. 4 years have gone by and none of the players have managed a top 50 leaderboard finish, grinded like jinggg & forsaken duo, shifted to Chennai for better ping. 3 major orgs (VLT, Enigma and Orangutan) have left the scene in this region.

TLDR; we need to watch Chess Olympiad rather than valorant washed players.

"You guys still want ge to go with more indian plyrs when they are clearly not capable"

Yes because more you give them experience more they will be capable, less you give experience less they will be capable.

It's ok to sacrifice 5 year at the bottom, if you can produce an Indian super team after 5 years

#36

Lol even 5 more years are not enough for a indian team to qualify at high level.
Our achievement from past 4 years clearly shows that.
Also you guys don't think that t1 will be too much for these indian plyrs when they haven't even played t2 much
Do you want to see another lf and Rossi at t1 level
First let a 5 indian men team win vcl sa then we can think about indian superteam at t1 level
