Also sa too has improved in quality but still the wildcard region will be too tough to beat. Even vietnam would fail in wildcard.

But still jpn is a weaker region from competition point of view. Sea and kr have way better quality

If riot gives slot to only 1 jpn team then it make sense to completely ignore sa.

Unfortunately if this doesn't happen, val will die in sa in 2-3 years. Indian players are already overpaid for their performance. To keep sa audience alive , this is the only way
If riot cares that much about competitiveness , 2 jpn teams doesn't make sense, but riot will do it because of viewership.
