TH vs Sen, Map Picks, Part 2

Let's say that TH wins the coin toss
Th bans - ascent 0% wr from sen with 2 games while Th has 2 games with 50% wr

Sen bans bind- 33% FROM sentinels while TH has 70% wr with 10 games

TH picks Abyss-60% wr from th with 5 games while Sen has no record of it (also infamously known that Zekken well have bad time since its a jett map)

Sen picks Lotus 55% wr from Th with 11 games while sen has 7 games with 71% wr

Th bans Haven- 60% wr from Sen with 5 games while TH has 3 games with 67% (Reason I chose this was because th wants to prioritze the maps with more games rather than ones with few)

Sen bans Icebox- 73% wr from th with 11 games while sen has 1 game (Reason I think this wasnt first picked by th and instead last banned by sen is because this was the map sentinels beat GenG 13-6 but yet they still have 1 map on it so they're still playing safe on this)

last pick Sunset- Th has a 83% wr on it with 12 matches while sen has 75% on it with 4 matches

TLDR
TH picks- Abyss
Sen picks- Lotus
LAST MAP is Sunset

I remade this one since the old one didnt make sense and had some holes in it, but this one makes sense for both sides of the team now and their history of picks and bans

This literally makes no sense for team heretics why would they pick a map where they have no clue what SEN are gonna do and just lost 13-5

They lost recently with 13-5 but the others were just really close games against Fnatic,GenG and FPX. They have more advantage on this due to Sen likely not having experience on this map competitively. Plus, its a Jett map so zekken would have a difficult time with it considering his jett isnt on par with his raze

not having experience on the map should mean nothing SEN have 5 days to review like 5 hours of TH footage on the map and TH have nothing to go off maybe as a map 3 but I doubt they pick it they'll pick bind/sunset whichever SEN ban which will probably be bind

I think Heretics should need to ban Lotus, not because they are not good at it but I think that's a go through map for SEN, they rarely lose on Lotus. And then SEN will definitely ban Ascent. Then Heretics can pick Bind because they are pretty good on it. Now, it creates a condition for SEN to choose between Haven/Sunset/Icebox/Abyss, and they'll probably go for Sunset as comfort pick and that's simply a trap and you know the reason that Heretics is by far the best team on Sunset, and then I think Heretics should go for Haven Ban, SEN would go Abyss or Icebox it doesn't matter probably.
Simply I mean, I think SEN is the best team on lotus as of now and in most of the games they won can be directly dependent on their lotus

Yeah that's an understandable view, Both have very strong Lotus with both beating strong teams on it. But I think Sen is very comfortable with the map to not pick and for th to not ban it as well. I could see them banning Lotus to pick Icebox but Sen still has a very strong icebox, so TH would rather just let Lotus (a map th has done fine on) go rather than Ascent where they' have been avoiding. Also both of em lost the recent games of lotus so both of em propably have an antistrat for each other where they would be very comfortable in using it, which means they'll both be playing on it likely

If Sen don’t play Ascent banning Ascent on first rotation makes no sense, can either do it later or leave it open

Doesnt matter, TH have been first banning Ascent on the recent games. check the th vods map veto on their recent games

Sen is not gonna pick ascent, banning it it’s stupid. Also TH probably does have something on Ascent, or should prepare it this 4 days. They’re in the lower bracket, cannot afford to have a permanban anymore, you’re gonna have to play it in the finals

from what I can see, If TH does have something hiding for Ascent then it would be over for Sen since their Ascent suck super balls compared to the other teams. For the most part, I think it's highly because they've just focused on the others maps rather than ascent since that specific map doesn't fully benefit the roster picks, like how they'd rather focus on maps where Miniboo can shine on neon

realistically It's going to be Sunset Lotus Abyss/Icebox, I don't see a world where SEN will willingly leave in Bind and I think SEN's Sunset does have holes that can be filled in the 4 days provided to them either way it's a 3 map series regardless either way.

Sunset haven lotus, I have a post explaining my reasoning but its like a lot of words and I'm on phone rn, so to keep it simple. Ascent banned by heretics, bind banned by Sen. Heretics takes sunset, Sen take haven, heretics ban abyss(anti-strat capabilities on both sides, heretics has less film, Sen has more). Sen ban icebox.
