unlucky
What the fuck does that have to do with anything. That's just criticism towards Lev, albeit bad criticism.
At the beginning of the season Lev was a superteam, they got the group of death in kickoff but looked good (unlucky), got third to qualify to Shanghai, looked shit in Shanghai but then you literally left the Lev train so it's not like you were supporting when they were an underdog, and now got first in Americas.
You're supporting a "powerhouse" team, not an underdog, let's not get it twisted
wait can i cook…. there is two ascension tournaments each year (one in july and one in december).
and wait for it.
in january (end of the month) we run the relegation tourney as a hype event, not only does it work with having more events but it fills the off season and means we can have more splits, potentially even 4 splits a year (?) with split one and two being for Ascension 1, and with split 3 and 4 being for ascension 2.
obviously this might mean we cant have ascension be a lan or we have to reshuffle stuff but it has so much potential i feel
edit: after thinking for more than 3 seconds I think the best way to do it would be two splits, a july or august ascension depending on champs, a third split, then a november or december ascension (after gc champs). we then have relegation tournaments with a format of
m1 Ascension winner vs franchise team
m2 Ascension winner vs franchise team
m3 m1 winner vs m2 winner
m4 m1 loser vs m2 loser
m5 m4 winner vs m3 loser (lower finals / bo5)
m6 m5 winner vs m3 winner (grand final / bo5 / m3 winner with double ban)
To make it easy, the higher seeded franchise team (e.g 10th higher seed than 11th) could pick their opponents for match 1/2
