it was? I think 100T was much better, on the other hand G2 I don't think they are bad but I feel like it is an undeserved 3rd place

agreed they beat teams at their worst or when teams hard choked. Not to say their not good but yes 3rd imo was undeserved

They didnt crumble, heretics crumbled on that upper round lol, it was obvious that heretics were the better team coming into lower finals

losing 13-2 and playing for individual moments is defiantly a crumble when they showed they could beat them on bind before and how well they can play as a unit. i think they just hadnt got used to the extreme pressure of lower bracket they hadnt lost up until GenG and the time off helped heretics grow as a team they just got more experience losing prior that mattered a lot when the stakes were highest. i think these teams are on a equal level heretics has the better individuals but g2 has the better macro (that doesnt mean either is bad at the other)

Wouldn't say a fluke, definitely unexpected, they surprised a lot of people getting as far as they did although yeah they crumbled when it mattered.

Right, the team that won every match in Shanghai until their last two must have had a fluke run. They definitely just can't be a good team. Now technically, they lost to the same teams as 100T, just a little bit later, so you could argue that 100T deserved 3rd and G2 deserved 4th but literally nothing else.

it seems harsh to call it a fluke but i don't think we see g2, in its current form at least, making a similar run in any tournaments in the near future. i think they need to try to replace icy w/ someone who is a bit more reliable
