the problem is he can't lol. Only places he'd be would be in tier 2 and tier 3 teams. Unless he makes a team himself with a good enough roster there is noone that will pick him up.

Tbh, if I were him, I would just switch to streaming. No pressure, ur own timings, no need to have team pracs every day or week, way higher salary, etc...

also, look at how jasonR's viewership has gone down since his team OG days as a streamer.

he had 3-5k in CS and as time goes by less and less people watch him since there's always someone new to watch (like asuna for example)

The like of ronaldo and neymar both had sexual assault cases filed against them where they were proven innocent. Ronaldo is now signed to one the biggest football clubs in the world and is THE most famous sports player in the world. If they are proven innocent the sponsor really should not care

sinatraa is a streamer/pro with 8k twitch viewers. it is a lot easier to kill his career than to kill the careers of the likes of ronaldo and neymar. also this is esports not traditional sports, the same rules doesnt migrate here. also riot can just be like "lol no" which no one can in your examples. so no your examples dont hold much ground.

Without saying my opinion this is completely understandable to be honest.
Seems like Sinatraa fans are on a hot streak downvoting every comment that supports this. I think its understandable that Riot doesn't want a guy who was accused of sexual assault represent their game in any form, and its understandable that there are people who don't want this either.

I think that's just the problem -- he was ACCUSED of sexual assault. I don't think that it is Riot's place to act like a courtroom and use this as conclusive evidence when no investigation was able to reach the same conclusion. Now, if there is a investigation that finds him guilty, I'm all for a lifetime ban, but until then, it isn't Riot's place. Frankly, I'm a 100T fan, don't really have a dog in this fight. Just don't agree with all of the cancel culture bullshit that's so prevalent today that someone can wake up one day and accuse someone of something and that's that - career over, no investigation needed. fundamentally do not agree with that

I think the real problem is that riot should not be intervening in whether or not a org sign him, those orgs would see if the sports benefits of signing him outweights the social/ economic costs. Riot can not actively go against his career especially since right now he is innocent.

Tons of casters have also openly stated that they would refuse to cast his games. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were observers and teams that wouldn’t want to play against sinatraa. It could make a major pr issue for riot which, (assuming this story is true), riot wants to avoid at all costs.
