this actually isnt clickbait lmao i saw this vid from esports talk talking about it and how riot might be asking teams not to sign him. what do you guys think?
HardStuckGold [#3]Dang if thats true then its unfortunate.
Tbh, he should just turn to full-time streaming. He has a good fanbase and averages 7k+ viewers per stream so yeah
True, just needs to stream full time at this point, better than turning pro because no pressure + ur own timings
ciro [#7]True, just needs to stream full time at this point, better than turning pro because no pressure + ur own timings
and im sure he earns wayyyyyy more

he said he wants to go pro though
RickyIndian [#9]he said he wants to go pro though
the problem is he can't lol. Only places he'd be would be in tier 2 and tier 3 teams. Unless he makes a team himself with a good enough roster there is noone that will pick him up.
Tbh, if I were him, I would just switch to streaming. No pressure, ur own timings, no need to have team pracs every day or week, way higher salary, etc...
xDRAKEN_x [#13]dude he said on stream that his professional conduct training was to start soon after his ban but it got pushed back to december so i think he ll return to pro after that
This. I dont thinl riot would just blacklist a person that's very influential in the scenes
Without saying my opinion this is completely understandable to be honest.
Seems like Sinatraa fans are on a hot streak downvoting every comment that supports this. I think its understandable that Riot doesn't want a guy who was accused of sexual assault represent their game in any form, and its understandable that there are people who don't want this either.

thats fair

dude he is innocent until proven guilty that's unfortunately how the law works if they found out that he was sexually harassing someone then he would've been caught with how american law in general is quite progressive as compared to other places
ait8k [#11]lets say that this isn't true, even if hes a really good player do u think that a t1 team with massive sponsors would risk to get sinatraa with the past that he had? guilty or not i know for a fact that a t1 team with some solid sponsors would never get him on just to possibly lose sponsors.
Plenty IRL teams have had people with problems like this and the have still kept their sponsors
Crackyoudown [#20]dude he is innocent until proven guilty that's unfortunately how the law works if they found out that he was sexually harassing someone then he would've been caught with how american law in general is quite progressive as compared to other places
yeah but its not like the thing was conlcusive. the accuser suspended the investigation.
thanatos11 [#21]Plenty IRL teams have had people with problems like this and the have still kept their sponsors
think about an esports team tho. you think cashapp will keep paying 100t after the shitstorm they face by signing sinatraa. same for ftx for tsm, alienware for liquid or any other t1 team.

Etihad Airways never dropped their sponsorship with Man City and they have a player awaiting trial for 4 counts of rape. Cazoo never dropped their sponsor with Everton after Sigurdsson after he was messaging underage girls. If he is proven full innocent he will be able to join a T1 team.
The like of ronaldo and neymar both had sexual assault cases filed against them where they were proven innocent. Ronaldo is now signed to one the biggest football clubs in the world and is THE most famous sports player in the world. If they are proven innocent the sponsor really should not care

thats true but i think in sport things are handled way diffrently, mainly cause of the money.

sinatraa is a streamer/pro with 8k twitch viewers. it is a lot easier to kill his career than to kill the careers of the likes of ronaldo and neymar. also this is esports not traditional sports, the same rules doesnt migrate here. also riot can just be like "lol no" which no one can in your examples. so no your examples dont hold much ground.
Yoorake [#15]This. I dont thinl riot would just blacklist a person that's very influential in the scenes
also influential behind the scenes lmao
Crackyoudown [#20]dude he is innocent until proven guilty that's unfortunately how the law works if they found out that he was sexually harassing someone then he would've been caught with how american law in general is quite progressive as compared to other places
its innocent until proven guilty in the eye of the law. Me or you can make opinions on the situation without a confirmed guilty by the court.
mystbz1 [#22]yeah but its not like the thing was conlcusive. the accuser suspended the investigation.

tho our opinions should have no value at all
Mkin11 [#27]I think the real problem is that riot should not be intervening in whether or not a org sign him, those orgs would see if the sports benefits of signing him outweights the social/ economic costs. Riot can not actively go against his career especially since right now he is innocent.
true, they said he was prohibited from playing until a specific date, we're already past that and now they are trying to stop teams from signing him, basically extending his ban time just because they feel like it. Unless they know a lot more than us, the way they are handling this situation is pathetic.
patuj [#16]Without saying my opinion this is completely understandable to be honest.

I think that's just the problem -- he was ACCUSED of sexual assault. I don't think that it is Riot's place to act like a courtroom and use this as conclusive evidence when no investigation was able to reach the same conclusion. Now, if there is a investigation that finds him guilty, I'm all for a lifetime ban, but until then, it isn't Riot's place. Frankly, I'm a 100T fan, don't really have a dog in this fight. Just don't agree with all of the cancel culture bullshit that's so prevalent today that someone can wake up one day and accuse someone of something and that's that - career over, no investigation needed. fundamentally do not agree with that
Okay, so his ex gf first comes out and accused him for sexual assault and also stated that it is very tough to come forward with situation like this, then puts investigation on hold reasoning mental health( obviously because sinatara isn't competing) and also warns to start investigation at later stage if she wants to. I mean what could be more dumb than this
hellaeleganceyeah [#36]as far as we know we have only known the evidence supporting the victim. make up your own mind, the law is not as foolproof as you think.
Yeah bro I’ll just go message my buddy that runs the court house and he can tell me everything about the case 👍
HardStuckGold [#10]the problem is he can't lol. Only places he'd be would be in tier 2 and tier 3 teams. Unless he makes a team himself with a good enough roster there is noone that will pick him up.

some people crave the competition.
also, look at how jasonR's viewership has gone down since his team OG days as a streamer.
he had 3-5k in CS and as time goes by less and less people watch him since there's always someone new to watch (like asuna for example)

i mean honestly thats just prolly cuz jasonR is fkin boring, no offense but like if i wanted to watch any 30 year old raging and telling everyone how to play the game id rather watch moe clips on yt that are actually a lot more funny/entertaining.

he's not 30, but I get what you mean. He has been around a lot longer than most.
Daniveus [#42]tho our opinions should have no value at all
then why do people vote in elections
all hail leader for life (...)

He's not 30??? I swear you GEN-Z people are so weird about age. You have to be under 18, Bro you are getting close to 30 yourself. Those years are gonna fly past. 18-26 is nothing.
hiyo [#57]then why do people vote in elections
all hail leader for life (...)
elections determine our fate, these situations are determining the fate of other people that have no business with us.
