If I was comparing NRG with FNATIC I would definitely favor FNATIC in a lot of matchups
NRG are role for role, better than LEV
role for role Aspas is objectively better than Demon1.
Demon1 is only able to play jett and flex onto smokes.
Aspas is the perfect Duelist who excels at Jett, Raze, and Neon without needing any other player like Victor to flex in order to make up for his lack of an agent pool.
Having your players be able to focus soley on their roles rather than go through the entire season essentially having to practice two roles is a lot more effective for team structure. you can obviously make it work, but it's still an issue that you don't face with flexible duelists

but tbh a duelist should be able to play multiple agents effectively. If Demon1 cannot play raze, then he cannot be as good of a duelist as aspas

The difference is that c0m has been in the tier 1 scene for much longer and has had many more chances to prove himself but only found success this year
Demon1 on the other hand has only ever been insane ever since he joined tier 1
Think about it in terms of percentages
Demon1 has been insane in 100% of the VCT events he has played
C0m has only been insane in around 40% of the VCT events he has played
