i just realized that they are qualified to playoffs already, so it doesn't matter anymore whether win or lose lol! they were just saving strats and energy for playoffs.

Qualification for split 2 playoffs takes into account both your record from spit 1 (now) and split 2. No one is just "throwing and playing for fun".
