So pretty much he said that Leo isn’t the best player itw which got a lot of fnc fans pissed on yt and twitter, but i don’t think a lot of the fans actually heard what he was saying cause he admitted fnc is better then EG and then he said he thinks Derke Alfa and chronicle provide more impact to the team.

Thats a fair opinion yet all the fnc fans in the comments are saying shit like ‘You won one trophy and now you think your good’ like what 💀

he really doesn't impact the map as much as alfa, despite being on initiator. his rating is god tier but hes always in position to trade, which inflates rating

alfa gets the same stats in tougher positions

It's all subjective and it changes depending on what you value more in a player.
Obviously this is all within reason, saying Leo wasn't a top player would be taking things too far.

FNS thinks Leo was the best player this year because he values his consistency and his smart decisions making.

so mainly, if we are talking about the best player of the 2023 season, are we considering raw logical statistics or are we talking about the player who has the most amount of impact? cuz there is a different sub-category for the players who have the most impact in game just like who has the most clutch rate or who has the most kills in the particular season.

When I think of "The best player of the year," I normally consider multiple different factors.

Statistical angles.
Although, there's always a debate about which metrics are more important to factor.
Impact can often be reflected by using different metrics, like you were saying with clutches or multi kills.
Some other things, like consistency and big-game performances, are also important to consider.

Achievement.
Winning events and being on a competitive team is also important.
Something people often forget to consider is that making deep runs in an event normally negatively affects your stats, due to the fact you would be facing the best teams.

It's hard to separate the "best player" from the "most impactful" due to how intertwined they are.

It's hard to pinpoint because people value different roles and attributes differently. If anything, it's most likely a flex player like f0rsaken since he plays multiple agents on every role at a very high level.

At the end of the day it's subjective.
It's almost impossible to quantify who the best valorant player is due to how multifaceted the game is.

There may be times where the majority of people agree on one player being the best but it's still just opinions.

I think leo is extremely unique in his ability to set his team up which makes him one of the most impactful on the team but it seems boostio, who knows and understands the game better than I, disagrees with me so I am probably wrong.
