what can you say against fpx in copenhagen? Ig eg avoided fnc and they played double map ban vs prx who have very bad bo5 map pool
PRX map pool is above average on every map(except haven) and if they are played two times in same tournament they lose due to familiarity LOUD vs EG was Champions decider

Only thing I can think of is it was single elimination. But no one was beating FNC anyways as they never would have went to lowers. Maybe loud would have won the rematch in the final but with two map bans I don't see that FNC losing.

Why are people so fucking delusional to say that any masters or champs winners are fraudulent, the only tournament that even has a possibility of an asterisk next to it’s name would be lock in sao paulo bc of single elimination and everyone having revamped rosters, but even then we can’t deny that fnatic we’re expected to win that event. First off something is not a top 3 player in the world yet, top 10 maybe but not top 3
Secondly just because one player couldn’t make it doesn’t mean that the whole tournament is fraudulent. When a player gets injured in a real sport and can’t play, the fans don’t call the tournament fraudulent, instead they acknowledge that it’s unfortunate and hope the next tournament the team will go even further

As much as I clown riot, they got it right with VK camera, people forget that riot issued an official statement after a team did this in TIER 3 on their official twitter account, effectively setting a precedent for future cases, Vk were lucky they didn’t get disqualified
Loud and Optic would have wiped the floor with fpx and fnc in Iceland 22 because of how far ahead of the meta they were, fpx won Copenhagen only because they were able to adapt finally
Again just because a few players are missing who should have been there doesn’t mean that the whole tournament is fraudulent, just means they have to try again next time
fpx were the favourites or you could argue second favourites for iceland 22 if they could attend.

I didn't watch much in 2021, so i can't put them on my list, but i have no doubts that it could probably enter my top 3.
So for me it still sticks out as LOUD, FPX and EG.
it was a legit tournament indeed. but it was first year of competitive valorant (SEN won the first, cmon...), so it has less value. and since Champs > Masters, i wouldn't put it above LOUD's 2022 Champs

even tho OpTic was good, they won when we didn't have FPX, remember? they might've beat LOUD on their first international appearance, but OpTic didn't play that well against EMEA (FPX was EMEA's seed 1)
EG won when LOUD kicked Fnatic out of the tournament. LOUD being Fnatic's kryptonite is common knowledge. it's a matchup thing.
a non sleepy/exhausted LOUD would've defeated EG also
Outsiders winning Rio Major was still the most fraudulent major win than any of these replies mentioned.
