Idk if you're still reading comments but. Similar thing happened to me. This was in my 2nd year of hs. Was together with her for 9 months and always was bothered by this one friend of hers. She was the sort of popular girl who hung out with everyone. Lots of guys. One day I texted her I was going to class when in reality I was just coming in late and knew she'd be happy when I would show up and I saw her sitting next to the guy who had a crush on her and she was very friendly with him. So right there after me wanting her to avoid him I decided we should break up. To make sure it wasn't some mistake. I asked him why is he sitting next to her and he said she asked him to. So I asked her and she said that was true. So I had to see them together for a little over a year. We broke up before winter break so my winter break was miserable. I had to see her running up to him and hug him after winter break with all the joy and excitement in the world. It was horrible. But time heals and you gotta either get a hobby. For me it was playing games. But it also helps if you try to focus on a new girl. More fish in the sea 🐟
