- "They choked a 11-3 lead to win Lock-in. HOW TF DO YOU CHOKE AN 11 - 3 LEAD."
It's important to remember the team was really new at the time, it was the first tournament Tuyz and Cauanzin played as LOUD players, both super young as well. And they still made it to the grand final in their first showing, not a small feat imo. They definitely didn't expect to go that far so soon with 2 new young players.
- "Looked shakey and had close games through out their season"
Looked shakey and still only NRG was able to beat them, so who cares? C9 looked strong af and didn't go to Masters or Champions, I bet they wish they looked as shakey as LOUD.
- "and THEN had a shockingly SHITE showing at tokyo. Embarassing."
Yeah, they perfomed badly at Tokyo. Tried new things and it didn't work out. But I think everyone can agree they came back 10x stronger after that for the most important tournament of the year so, again, who cares?
- "Than they magically looked good during playoffs of champs. They had a high ceiling but toooo inconsistent. You just don't know what version of Loud you see on the day."
It's not magic, it's work and commitment. They placed 2nd at Lock In, 1st at VCT and they're already top 3 at Champions. That's inconsistent? One bad tournament takes away all of that? I disagree.
I think they are absolutely in discussion for the best team this year, especially if they win Champs. I know that's a hard pill to swallow for you guys.
