That Fnatic winning champs is the worst scenario, right?

Loud, EG or PRX winning would be such an epic result for this year:

Loud: insane run, beating almost all the best teams of 2023 after bombing out on Tokyo and being a runner up on Lock/In, just like in 2022.

EG: from worst team of Americas to the major Valorant tournament winners. Demon1's rise too, from sub to EG's starplay, would be insane!

PRX: pacific's first trophy, and what a trophy, the major valorant tournament trophy + PRX deserves it after being runner ups at Copenhagen and went #3 playing without their starplayer on Tokyo and with a streamer replacing him, c'mon, they deserve it a lot.

Fnatic: they already won 2 trophies this year, it's enough, Boaster is such a cool guy, was really nice to see him crying after Lock/In gfs and stuff, they already proved themselves

Wait, calm down, I understand hating the fan base, I think the least hated fan base is APAC. But hating on Loud players, who literally do nothing and are friendly to everyone, that's not it. Literally the most controversial twist there was was Less x Sacy (it was actually kind of personal since they were on the same team) but it's literally impossible to hate these guys, unless you hate dogs

no , fnc winning would be boring . Storyline and scene would be kind of expected , before the event everyone thought loud wont make it to playoffs itself . loud had toughest run . and fnc grandfinals will get like 1m peak viewers , loud grandfinals will get 1.2 - 1.3m

no. if FNC win then that would be boring af with a team winning every event this year. Brazil viewership is MASSIVE and the top 5 most viewed matches all have brazil playing in them for this tournament. the storyline of a team with internal issues and bombing out but then bouncing back and winning it all + becoming back to back champions would be insane. It would be good for the scene if a team doesn't win 3 tournaments back to back.

How would FNC winning not be good? It creates the first ever val dynasty and would set up next vct with the story of "Who will be the ones to dethrone the first dynasty". Long term FNC winning is better for the scene

nope it would make the scene worse. people don't think "Who will be the ones to dethrone the first dynasty" but more so "I might not watch this tournament since fnc will probably win again". This was a bit of an issue with csgo and astralis but luckily covid sorta ruined their dynasty.

We're forgetting its just 3 events in a row... Astralis got boring cause it was like 20, this would make HISTORY and since this champs is definitely not in dominating fashion it doesn't just automatically make ppl assume they'll win next year. You just want no depth of history in val? Just diff champs every year and no team consistently winning anything past 2 trophies.

Yes so if fnc win it creates a "Dynasty" which has already shown signs of crumbling and can be beaten which would make fans of these top 4, even top 6 teams want their team to be the ones to stop them and the teams have something to strive towards ending besides silverware.

I'm an FNC fan after PRX, and I agree I would rank FNC as 4th, cause they lost to LOUD and they have questionable performances so far, but at least they bounce back so I don't mind them being in Top 3. Of course I'm rooting for PRX to win, but EG and LOUD looks really strong too. Honestly wouldn't like EG to win cause of this "villain" shenanigans, but wouldn't be surprised if they do, I mean they deserve it too, great performances.

As a fan of FNC I wish I valorant would have few consistent teams that continue to perform almost every tourney so I wouldnt mind them winning, but I do agree PRX winning would probably be a more exciting outcome. The region rivalry is super boring now too imo, just people hating on regions they dont like purely because of the fans and no actual stuff to back it up with.
