EG should swap pho and roca for ban and aleksander

What do u guys think?

Edit: the point is less about who they should replace those two with, but rather that they should replace pho bc he's underwhelming in general and roca bc refusal to play anything but reyna is just terrible for comp flexibility and just low key toxic

Edit 2: a lot of people pointing out that:
1) pho is igl
2) aleksander left the team a month or so ago

1) pho is only igl since potter left. He's not exactly proven and just like when potter left, someone can take up that role. They may not be the best fit but we dont know if pho is or not either. Rn they are prolly just carrying out potter's plan anyway
2) it would not be the first time a player has returned to a team they previously left. T1 brax and guild draken are recent examples. Plus, it may have had something to do with having tried to make a mixed roster work. Now that theyve given up on that, maybe itd work. Just a possibility

ban was on LG and alelsander on abx.. i dont really watch those player but if big org like that try those player it maybe a good moove from EG and they've player with good player so they have experience too

edit: they arnt even playing rn idk why you say that.. ban play on Squirtle Squad lol

Yeah... that was when they were still trying to make a mixed roster work. Sometimes players rejoin orgs. Weirder things have happened. Maybe sign drone instead... im not sure. The idea is really that pho is questionable and why theyd want a reyna-only player on an org like eg beats me

You act like they didnt just switch igls when potter moved to coaching lol. Pho started as igl, what? A week ago? Temperature and branted are both capable of igling. Plus it's still just carrying out potter's vision at this point.

Ah yes add ban (a duelist) and aleksandar (another main duelist) to replace the igl. Roca is really inconsistent but I don’t think making another roster move so quickly after an igl change is good for most team, even if it’s an upgrade

pho has been a great igl so far. The reads and mid rounding he was doing yesterday were great vs KCP. I think this team should stick together for now and not change anything. They’re also friends outside the server so I think they can evolve their chemistry even more

kinda agree to replace roca with ban but not to replace pho with aleksandar. pho is the igl, if they want to replace him they should sign dazed or levi instead.
there are also many good duelist option beside ban like thief, mummay and governor

I think aleksander is better than thief tbh... i think mummay might be a good choice, but the only duelist he plays is jett, and u just saw boostio on jett. Governor i dont think is actually that good in pro play.

Igl isnt an issue. Pho has only been igl since potter stepped down

i do agree that aleksandar is better than thief, but thief had more tier 1 experience and he faced top teams more than aleksandar. i dont really count aleksandar bcs he just left EG months ago, i dont think EG would re-sign him in near future.
mummay only play jett but boostio play other duelist too, if mummay play jett boostio can play other duelist with 2 duelist strat or with his flexibility mummay could play other role and give jett to boostio to play with 1 duelist.
clearly you dont know how crucial an igl is. i dont mind if pho playing as igl but if he replaced with aleksandar, who would be the igl? notevery player willing and capable to be an igl. beside having good roster, every top team had experienced and proven igl, sen with shaz, nv with fns, 100T with nitro and xset with dephh. a team full of star didn't always work without good igl.

Im not underrating igl in general. I understand it's importance for sure. They are a tough commodity to come by... but with that being said it's not like pho is a proven igl. He's only been igl for less than a month... so let's not talk about him like he's tenured on this team at all. Temperature and branted are both capable of taking up igl. Whether they want to or not is certainly a potential issue. I believe rn potter is still essentially in charge of strats... igl is just carrying out her plan... sorta like when gMd was igl for geng

true potter is in charge of strat but the one who made the calling and choose which strat should they play based on the in game situation are the igl. yes pho is not a proven igl and like i said before i dont have any problem with that but to replace him with another duelist and making temperature and branted as igl is just holding up their gameplay, this may work but it's too risky bcs they are not only focus to their gameplay but they need to think about the strat, calling and looking after their teammates, thats why most of igl didnt have like high K/D.
i remember when gMd was igling for geng but in the end they sign nature as igl and their gameplay is much better now.
imagine if sen replace shaz with "better duelist" like asuna or "better sova" like crashies and give the igl role to zombs or dapr. skill wise they are better than shaz but i dont think zombs or dapr could lead this line up better than shaz.

I'd wait till after LCQ unless a big name comes up they can't say no to.

After LCQ teams will be shuffling tons of players around for next year. I love the Potter to head coach move, while her mechanical skill might not be able to keep up with the very best. Her brain for the game is incredible.

Boostio is looking fantastic so far. Anyone know his age? Would be great if he is a young dude EG could build the future around like Asuna on 100T.

Personally for me Roca is the first player that needs to be replaced. If he was playing anyone but Reyna I could be OK with his fragging. But if you are playing Reyna, you need to be near the top of the server in terms of Kills or you are a hindrance to your team and better off on like any agent. I don't know what's going behind the scene, maybe for some reason the team feels this is the best move. But I just find it hard to imagine. Play a Skye or like a KAY/O, an agent that can frag for themselves but also setup the team and gather info.

Edit: As I say this he is fragging out great on Accent again C9B, hope it continues. Maybe with the roster moves he will be unlocked. Or it's a random one off.

Stop roca slander. He is an incredible player. While I do agree the Reyna tunnel vision is a clear downside, his repetitive and quite consistent good performances are all upsides.
