They're not all aim no brain like NIP from Brazil though, they're much more chaotic than PRX but eventually knows the risk and shit like PRX does

APAC, KR, and JP have always used shotguns extensively. It's because they weren't suppressed by the dogmatic CS gun meta that Western countries have. No experience in CS=the ability to understand the viability of all guns.

yeah, but I feel like the shorty particularly was really only used by op players or on eco rounds, and nowhere else. However, recently, I feel like I've seen a lot of players buy it with rifles if they play near a choke / a common smoke spot esp in JP and APAC.

it's just an evolution of the shorty play. I know a lot of players who will buy the shorty for such rounds in KR and APAC and I actively encourage my teammates to do it during end-of-half rounds too.

I also know exactly one high radiant player in NA who believed in the viability of the shorty secondary. Just one.

Fun fact, using shorty isn't easier than using vandal/phantom. Both has different difficultly. Affecting on team play or individual skill.

When I checked Laz stream after Kopenhagen, he talked about this exact topic while he was buying shorty.
"First Seoldam showed SugarZ3ro how to play shorty. Then SugarZ3ro showed us(ZETA members) how to play shorty. Now everyone on JP server is Shorty gamer."

HAHA I FUCKING KNEW IT! Seoldam legit introduced Jett shorty playstyle to the world I guarantee you. This guy was like the only pro Jett player who would actively use the Judge/Bucky/Shorty in games and I suspect it all started because of the OP Bucky meta that terrorised KR servers since release.

Sugarzero is actually disgusting on astra that i feel like he makes shotgun astra works. His smokes are so good at entrying a site for those zeta executes.
