can we just let this go? ange1, this old fraud, has achieved NOTHING since winning a masters THREE years ago and people STILL think he's a top 5 igl in the game. this "top 5 igl" also led his NAVI team (the same members as the masters winning team) to finish 9th place last split and his new team to be the FIRST eliminated from kickoff. and onto boostio: how is boostio also still being considered one of the games' "greatest igls" when he won ONE international event and then fell off disgustingly hard? didn't he get 1 fucking kill against team heretics at his next international appearance on the most important game? and then go -30 against FNS? LMAO

just because these frauds won one trophy does not solidify them as a top igl. by ur stupid ass logic nobody is the worlds top 5 igl too because he has led his team to become champs and china winners like twice

only boaster has won more than one event, what’s your point then

the valorant esport scene is still too early to make lists about "top 5 ____" players imo

Boostio won Americas split 1 last year so not exactly a fraud yet (in terms of IGLing)
Also the history of valorant esports is too short so in terms of "winning an international" a team just has to won two times to share top1 with Fnatic

boostio took eg to 2nd place and then champions when everyone thought they were bums. 100t didn't even look too bad, i think in split 1 you will see.

navi looked really good last year losing to only th until split 1 they then crumbled in split 2
navi this year have a subpar roster and got eliminated by karmine corp and a kaajak life game
fns hasnt won shit either since iceland 🤣

But after Bangkok they can be replaced by nobody/boo/valyn/munchkin

Ange1 has 2 top 4 placements in internationals, and a masters win.

Boostio has 1 top 4 (with 4 other players), 1 top 2, a champs trophy and a split 1 trophy

other IGLs you can maybe argue for being top 5: (discounting ones which clearly are)

Munchkin: probably up there Pacific stage 2, 1 masters trophy and 1 top 2 finish

Johnqt: Arguable 1 masters trophy, 1 champs top 4

Nobody: Masters top 8 2x (idk if worth saying i dont think it adds much), Champs trophy, China split 1 and 2

Stax: No trophies, 1 top 6 placement, 2 top 4 placements, and 1 top 3 placement.

Kingg: Americas split 2, 1 top 6 placement, 1 top 3 placement.

you tell me who the most decorated igls on this list are.

You cant just say "this guy is better off the eye test" you dont know how much impact coaches and igls have apart from how their team does.

also FNS and boaster not on here bc imo they are probably clear cut idk about fns anymore tho.
