pretty shallow take on berserk ngl, not every series needs to be judged superficially, berserk isn't naruto, there are layers to the violence. the character bonds are realistic and just like reality, they are cruel, the vision was also very unique for its time and still is.

Vagabond is literally the story of a legendary rounin going on a spiritual journey and overcoming his insecurities, and not through the power of friendship, but by spending time alone in his thoughts, there is violence in berserk and vagabond, but again there are layers to the violence, violence isn't just cool, it's spiritual in an essence.

anime monster is way worse than manga monster. Anime is usually better than manga, but in this case it def isn't. Meruem is up there tho i agree, I just think that the way Johan manipulates people has me more fearful than anything any other villain has done; hell, the villain could destroy the world and I'd still be more shook by Johan's words.
