Optic is a lock, but outta every other team it could be really anybody right now. NA competition is pretty close outside of that.
Ik im 12hrs late but they can't beat TSM first if they don't qual in the first place.
Optic is S tier, guaranteed top 3 Copenhagen.
Every other NA team is B tier at best. I’d like to see ghost make it because their roster has stuck together for so long and it’d be a shame for it to change up after their first real run of success.
Every other team needs to get down on a huge shuffle this off-season.
ghost just added Aproto no? also Johnqt and Brawk are pretty recent as well
Wow you right that was this year! Maybe feels longer cuz we see them more often? Regardless, hopium on ghost. This stages guard.
I mean it works out cuz they dropped Aproto and Dre for Mada and bdog, their two best players.
Actually these 5 on Ghost have only been playing together as a unit for a few months!!!

i think optic is definately going, the guard, ghost and 100 theives are looking good as well, not so sure
I mean I get T1 slowly building a korean superteam is important. But cloud9 really fucked up.
They didn’t have too much of a choice. Xeta wanted to leave, they’re not just gonna imprison him there.
Ghost deserves it cause they look like they want it more than anyone else, they have a lot of preparation on their maps and it shows, also they improve by the day, but I think EG could be the real dark horse for getting to Copenhagen, they have the nerdiest setups and the most sound tactics in NA bar optic and Jawgemo is a man possessed

Ghost, 100T, or Guard
Ghost and 100T have made some incredible improvements recently and XSET’s doomed to be 4th as always. C9 looks like they’ve fucked up and they’re not gonna be good enough to make it all the way. And while it’s true Guard lost their first two games with that bad role switch, now that Saya’s back on entry I think they can beat XSET and NRG and make playoffs. Then it’s anyone’s game. I just really want a redemption arc for them at masters, and I want them to be able to play more international teams on LAN and get better.

Optic and 100t, everyone that says Ghost, its not a bad shout but i think playoffs will be completely different than groups and they wont even make it past round 1. if its not 100t its gonna be xset optic
100T and the guard will go I think. Guard will get 4th seed and go on the most monstrous lower bracket run ever and make it to Copenhagen.
i like that... after optic has finally won after always coming 2nd, i think its time for the smaller teams to have the spotlight. i want the guard to redeem themselves in copenhagen and 100t are looking very good rn

It's a battle of Ghost (who look great), 100T (who CAN look great), C9 (who can be great), Xset (Cryo can be GREAT), and EG (wtf these guys are great).
If I had to Rank em' I'd say:
- 100T
- C9
- Ghost
- XSET
- EG
Why tho?
- 100T - All 5 of them can carry the team. None of them need to carry the team. They have coaching, they have cohesion. All they need is to not face TSM, and they'll get in at the 2 seed.
- C9 - Regardless of Xeta vs Curry, they are still C9. They can still be a 2 seed. Slight edge over Ghost because of leadership.
- Ghost - we all saw it. they'll have me sold once they win when it counts. V1 last quals, as a reminder why.
--Lil gap-- - Xset - They good, Cryo needs to go Mr.4k on their opponents and drop 20+ more consistently and they stand a chance.
- EG - Edge out Luminosity here. They have a chance to squeeze through. Maybe, just maybe.
100T, GHOST, and C9 are all close. 100T have the most potential in my mind due to their similarity to optic.
Bang - Marved : Top controllers in NA.
Crashies- Derrek : Top Sovas NA.
Stellar is a WIP FNS.
Will and Asuna are a WIP fragging duo like Victor and Yay.
100T are the closest thing to OpTic that NA has. Bang can be as good as Marved (consistency, experience). Derrek is as good as Crashies. The other 3 will mold and by the end, I see 100T as a more offensive OpTic (Yay on Chamber vs Will on a duelist role).

it’s great seeing all the teams in NA groups rn kind of be balanced, not like last stage where everyone was either like 5-0 or 0-5. Especially with the teams who went 0-5 like EG dominating other huge teams
