Why isnt he considered one of the best players in the world ?

Platchat didnt even put him in the nominees for best players while they are making arguments for Zeek Shahzam and Chronicle over him ??

If you were to put Liquid against any team in the world
I can most definitely say there is over a 50% chance that he will end up getting the match MVP every time

Is it ScreaM's fault that Liquid is so well rounded
People making arguments that he is a 1 trick reyna but they forget that he dominated LCQ and Berlin Quals on Jett and posted 2nd most ACS on sage in Iceland ??

It wasnt an off map I remember watching shroud's pov like 70% of his deaths maybe more tbh was him being flashed or cus of x utility usage he had a pretty unlucky start tbh and its not like someone like that aim just disappears one map to the next he was just being shut down with utility and unfortunate situations.

He's had plenty of good games on Jett, but he's simply not as consistent on it as he is on Reyna. I don't think Home Ground #2 is the best marker for comparison anyway as the teams there weren't going all out anyway.

The Challengers 1 Acend won wasnt EMEA Quals , that was EU quals
While the one Liquid won was EMEA Quals

i.e. the tournaments Acend won were the ones were Gambit and SMB didnt play

i think scream is def one of the top players in the world, but what make liquid great imo is because of how versatile jamppii and link are. If i were to start a new team and have to pick a duelist, I would much rather take yay or cned or other dominate jett awper instead of a rifling one.

Against Sentinels what happened , i dont think that was his mechanical ability which sucked , it was more of a mental thing

and his growth has been incredile , it really shows that he started practicing a jett a lot more , even his Oping improved multi fold though not at the level of Jamppi and Nivera but at this rate i think he has potential to be the best jett not just best duelist

Yes but why would you want Scream to Op?They have Nivera and Jamppi i think they will pick up Chamber to Op and let ScreaM do the rifle work. In my opinion the reason why liquid as a team is good is because i feel like many players can play multiple roles and that ability will be crucial in the future as new agents,maps come in.It will be really interesting to see how they evolve as a team, i hope they stick to this roster and then we can expect great things from them.

But again why would you want him to play Jett? First of all Jamppi is better Jett, and second of all which game has he played with Jett and done something he couldn’t have done with Reyna?

Jett is not this super strong must pick anymore, especially if there is other people in the team that can Op, just let him be confortable playing whatever he feels comfortable with

Lets be honest ,the way game is progressing forward , i hardly see anyone play an agent that doesnt contribute utility to the team
Dry peeks would be punished a lot more .
At that point would you rather sacrifice your utility game and -play comfort like Sentinels or trust your players to play optimal roles and play a more meta gamestyle

So i dont think anyone would be happy to see Double Duelist let alone Sliggy the only way around it is sacrifice your Jett Op and i dont think Scream will shift to a more passive role ever again
Personally i dont see this Liquid comp working forward considering Chamber wil also be an option

Great year for ScreaM. Masters and Champions, won Red Bull HG. In my opinions he is most consistent player in the world. He hardly ever fails. Top 5 players in the world for sure. Individually even the best.

Impact he carries is his nutty aim and just a menacing presence that creates pressure against teams. He is a star player!
Problem is, Liquid always found a way to get overconfident and whiff and keep their heads down after those whiffs... Which resulted in them not winning anything that's really important and that's how Scream kept staying out of these top 5 lists.
But if Liquid fixes their mental game... I think we're gonna see him and multiple TL players in upcoming top 10 lists!

His team's Iceland and challengers 3 performance holds him back from an overall 2021 player of the year award. He was one of the best if not the best from lcq on but you can similar things about tenz earlier in the year. If you look at Cned who was the winner of masters 1 and champions. Its hard to top.

despite the hype train on yay's oping hes not that good in awping as people think, i would say hes just above average. in terms of rifling yay is close to perfection. everyone can have bad maps, even ScreaM and El Diablo, but for me yay is a bit better and more consistent than ScreaM as a duelist, but things could change, imagine juan tap machine with proper IGL and better team play.
