im not talking about team quality or anything like that

theres been like no content pieces or promotional hype videos from riot at all, and considering the tournament is in like 2 or 3 days, it feels like nobody cares about it?

I mean just compare to the amount of stuff that was coming out for Madrid last year, it felt like a really hyped event, but this just feels mid

Madrid was the most hype event of all time tho every match hovering around 1m viewers (exc. China ofc) and Grand final reaching 1.6m viewers which is the record for Valorant match to this day (exc. China viewership). Last years Champs grand final reached the peak overall viewership with Chinese auidence so you cant really say there isnt much hype before the event starts because you never know

well yeah obviously that’s expected because the teams / matches were good but the hype building up to the event seems lackluster compared to past events

like for example the champs 22 trailer is still one of the hardest things valorant has ever put out

I mean even if there is no hype, the quality of teams is kind of nutty
That being said no Tenz, no PRX, no Brazil, no Fnatic
Pretty much we are done with the old era
Could be why the fans are not as hyped
But I ain't complaining. I am really excited about this tournament

riot released a single youtube video for madrid, and they did the same for bangkok. dont really get what u mean by "promotional hype videos from riot at all" and none of the regional youtube video except china did any promotional content either, im not saying it doesnt exist, just dont know what you are refering to

I havent checked their tiktok so maybe you mean that? but I actually think bangkok had more tiktok videos made from what I can recall at least (I get a video here and there)

Last 2 days or so found some TH twitter showing content around the station with promotional masters bangkok.
Saw another TH video of getting to the arena
Saw another TH video of the shopping mall, floor 5 going lift to UOB Live venue.

From local asia scene there has been some, but from official english not so much.
Also saw a fan twitter yesterday from a tuk-tuks showing leaf with a riot staff filming.
So They're still filming promotion as team only arrive in Thailand 24-48 hours ago.
