tenz glazers/haters

tenz was a good player in 2024. here's what he was not:

  • he was NOT the best player of 2024
  • he was NOT on the best team of 2024
  • he was NOT the best flex player of 2024
  • he was NOT the best omen of 2024

for all tenz glazers the above is not "tenz hate" it's just facts.
people who think tenz wasn't one of the best players of 2024 are retarded. people who think tenz was one of the above listed are also retarded.

Idk if Karon was a better omen more than he was just a better impact player than tenz was. Also tbf Karon was on a more dominant and consistent team

tenz dragged his nuts on karon when it mattered

this "more dominant on a more consistent team" thing is weird

he played in an easier region, and sentinels with tenz had a better 2024 internationally, 1st place and 4th at champs is better than the gen g run, no matter how you split it, sentinels actually won an event and came closer than geng to winning the MOST important event

i really never get this notion that geng was somehow a tier above everyone else

  • idk who calls him the best player of 2024
  • it's arguable that with 1 title and a deep run in the most important tournament they were "better" than GenG who bombed out in the most important tournament and made 1 masters GF and a masters win (it just feels that way to me cause Sen easily could've won champs had they not tripped over their own shoelaces)
  • yea agreed but again idk who says that an almost exclusively omen player is a flex player
  • nah I don't think there was anyone other than Karon who could compete and Karon wasn't a better omen but just a better impact fragger. He also was just on a team that was more dominant with their wins and more consistent through the year but tenz was singlehandedly THE MOST consistent player for his team, he was the only guy holding up their chances at making Shanghai

nah fr i get the shanghai win was really nice from geng, but champs will always take priority over a masters event, and tenz was the difference maker in the match that eliminated geng

Yea ik, that's what I was saying. Tenz was the better omen

The reason I mention that GenGs dominance had an impact on karons performance was because with the way GenG won most of their matches it would naturally be so easy for Karon to get crazy games in terms of stats whereas the reason Sen were so good last year was a lot of tenz being a maniac on omen and playing with a super aggressive style. A lot of his plays don't reflect on stats the way karons playstyle does.

Yea but like let's be so for real the last 4 edg wins were the opponents completely fucking themselves over. Sen EASILY should've won against edg and if you don't think they were the ones that caused their loss then you're a dumbass.
Lev were just an inconsistent team overall and they were teetering off towards the end of champs

Geng also ‘actually won an event’ and sen had a better international showing cause they had a smaller sample size. Geng had 2 grand finals and only lost to 2 top 4 champs teams at internationals which is much better than not even qualifying to an international under 100t

Regardless of h2h stats tenz is the better omen anyway, its just another fun fact to look at no need to looktoo deep into it

It's not about who they lose to tho, it's about how horribly they played. While Sen didn't make Shanghai it was somewhat justified with how much time they had to make the turnaround whereas GenG had the space to play terribly in their own region because their region was trash.

Regardless tho in my eyes not making a masters due to the turnaround time isn't as bad as completely bombing out of a champs when you were qualified regardless of your regional results.

Sen had 1 masters trophy and made a top 4 (arguably should've made GF if they managed to keep up their performance) in champs which imo is much better than a GF in a masters

so what your saying is... edg didnt play as bad as their opponents so they won? Sounds like a deserved champs win icl

I mean yea in a way thats what i mean, that is the reality of the situation when your opponents are all just throwing.
It was the same thing with acends champs, in a few years well look back on the EDG win and no one is gonna give them any credit cause EDG will be another 8-6th team. Its not that theyre bad, their opponents just played worse than their typical performances

and just to be clear i dont mean to say EDG didnt deserve the win, i never said that even once. I just wouldnt give them credit for being the best team of the year nor did they reach the peaks TH SEN and GenG reached through the year.

yk what thats fair. i think the highest peak of the year was probably GenG in shanghai or TH in shanghai tbh. the neon meta for champs really screwed a lot of teams over(especially GenG since texture isnt an insane neon and neon kinda owned every other duelist which is why i think they bombed out of champs). the shanghai grand finals could have gone either way but TH js lost steam after the third map and GenG with their experience capitalized on it.

Imma be so for real rn, im not being biased here but in my eyes SEN were BY FAR the peak of the whole year. The way they played PERFECT utility combos and had amazing reads based on the areas of the map the opponents would play and referring back to their anti was just so much more impressive than any other team. I think maybe TH was close to that level but they were often carried by individual rounds by the players.
Out of the three teams SEN were by far with the least firepower and was still competing for the best team of the year and i think that says something really significant. Towards the end of the year we started seeing them implement the util combos and retake heavy style again and they managed to go super deep in champs right after an abysmal regionals.

Im a SEN fan but i still remember being so down on them for dropping pancada one of my favourite players for Zellsis and then seeing the perfection those fuckers were playing. I had to just shut up and watch, i remember the bombardment from the pancada haters telling me how wrong i was and seeing their madrid run confirmed that for me.

Overall throughout the year karon was better but in bigger matches and high pressure moments Tenz was way better than Karon . Even in the games they lost in Champions against EDG and heretics in both map 3's tenz had a lot of impact .

im not really gonna argue with you because in the end its an opinion and everyone has their fav team. both SEN and GenG won a major and TH made it to 2 major finals.
