So I've just moved to SEA and am playing APAC servers like the Singapore server and what I have noticed is that there is like some PURE HATRED for the SG players, like I am seeing people in my games completely not try or give up cause we got a SG player on our team and everyone just assumes the person is going to be toxic (which usually is true but that's besides the point.) So I am wondering for the APAC players out there is it true for yall too that when you see a SG player with that 5-10 ping you sorta just give up on the game cause they are from Singapore or have my first few days just been weird and unfortunate?

Not from Singapore, but I play in the OCE region regardless. In Sydney servers, you can't really get 5-10 pingers with normal NBN wifi, and is only really accessible via ethernet.
I play regularly at a Chinese PC Cafes, and i get 5-10 ping consistently most of the time. The point I am trying to put forward is that alot of 5-10 pingers are playing from an internet cafe, as such a ping is rarely accessible at home.
Most of the time if I get a 5-10 pinger on my team (and yes, i am about the same rank as you), they are usually a Chinese person playing at an internet cafe. So, I suppose you can assume that the same can exist in Singapore servers.
So I suppose you can assume that a 5-10 pinger in Singapore would have the implications that you have pointed out above. But personally, I really just think that you've just been getting unlucky. Surely not every 5-10 pinger Singaporean is toxic and annoying.
Whenever i queue sg i open my mic i get racist indian jokes like they aren't even funny same old recycled garbage. So i go back to mumbai servers like a cuck and get insulted in hindi cause the players in mumbai have inflated ego. So i guess every server is dog just have to hope for a good lobby occasionally
definitely NOT all but mostly would talk shit if someone is botfragging, whiffing, acting like they're aspas and never had bad days, toxic and racist, and the fact that SG is the like the richest and have the best welfare country in SEA makes them look down on other south east asians (especially if they are low ranks like silver-diamond)

TH players is really a kind. fun and chill, but their english was not the best
PH and Indo has the same behaviour, some times they're so shit. sometimes they're so wholesome and good
HK TW has a language barrier, sometimes they dont even comms
i personally enjoyed playing with TH,PH,Indo the most.
Not really, you just moved in so you're probably just noticing a lot of tendencies and player behaviors and blowing it out of proportion, but once you get used to all those noise you'd actually notice that it's a minority. Most would literally just chill and play the game, hell they won't even comm. Though I'd admit the experience is much worse from platinum up lmao.
SG people do have a bad image of playing valorant, because when they tilt they will often blame the team. the most unlucky are usually the bottomfrags and those who often make a mistake. but this does not only apply to sg people, there are also many indo, pinoys and thai. but most of them that often tilting are sg and indo. This were my experience in gold-plat-diamond lobby.
Oh actually 2 days ago i had a game on haven where this 8 ping SG players play breach and just afk for like 10-20 seconds on the early round, for like 4/5 rounds. Get critiques from trammates and start to throw the game afterwards. Killing teammates with aftershcok when defuse & ulting on the last round. We werre up to 9-3 on attack and lose 11-13 cause He alone manage to lose 3 round where all enemy is dead LOL. Pretty pathetic individual, hes the worst sg players ive ever faced til now.
Get on the beers and queue OCE, will you have shit ping yes but so does everyone else. Racial jokes, probably but they'll at least be creative (and the beers will help you give as much as you take).
Probably wouldn't recommend to rank up, but this is a game we play for fun and this will guaranteed be the most fun available on APAC servers
