do you think dfm will replace gyen with ssSes based on their offseason results? lot of people aren’t very convinced with gyen who i think needs a little bit more time cause i think it would’ve went differently if he was playing in chengdu
SSeeS is great and I would love to see him play due to his aim being good enough to compete in Tier 1. But keep in mind gyen is still young and this is his first pro team. He will learn the agents over time to play his role better. Gyen is an insane aimer and his confidence allows him to play in ways that the opponents expect less often.

great aimer?? bro gyen looks so mid to me in terms of aim
brahianv [#4]put ssees in! still not impressed by gyen
How is gyen meant to prove himself if you don't put him in?

bro he already had his chances if dfm was to win this year ssees is the right choice

He was outclassed today by better teams, but bare in mind he was picked up from ranked. His aim is definitely not mid, but it's more so down to his decision-making as well as some of the team-calling today. SSeeS is clearly more experienced than gyen and can play out scenarios better. Additionally, gyen is probably still rank-brained where he prefers playing Clove and taking riskier duels.
The best decision is to slowly integrate gyen into the team.
Let SSeeS plays 50% of the game while gyen plays the rest, then slowly increase gyen's playing load, and by the end of the season gyen will be playing full time.
SSeeS will be 29 by the start of season, idk why everyone thinks he can easily put the same performance like he does rn.By long shot he's more likely to fail than gyen. He's bound for retirement sooner than later so might as well integrate gyen gradually.
Bonktober [#3]I think sitting him for some games is a really good idea. It lets gyen learn from ssees and dfm look really good with ssees over him rn
I do agree that they should probably slowly and eventually fully integrate gyen.
Ballsamolee [#11]ssees has good aim and he is a 2nd caller. gyen came from ranked and has okay aim. i think the decision is obvious.
i agree with the ssees part. gyen has phenomenal aim, he just needs more experience and confidence like any other player would. just give him time.
