Nah, i think they will keep Gyen in the main roster.
with time i completely believe he can be a great smokes player, he just needs to slowly get more stage confidence as a player.

they hit a low spot against TSM (and whoever they played after, or before i dont remember)
they kinda just couldnt win certain rounds that seemed very winnable.

his timeouts are a little late tho, feel they could be called a little earlier, allow him to talk to the players to keep them locked instead of the 12-11 last round of regulation timeout.

Thats a nasty schedule, losing the upper bracket then having to play another match right after is a little fucked for any team.

i honestly think, if zekken got around the corner (when he raz ulted the brim at showers and kadoom killed him after) this game would have ended.
guy honestly had the most impact at the perfect moment, i really felt like the timeouts came a little slow.
it was 12-6 and they called a timeout at 12-11, not good, players basically were boomed as soon as MITH got double digits.

he definitely had a rough series, seems like most fights he took (that he normally would take) always went wrong.

It really just came down to how MITH played the map.
many, many rounds of flanks that were un punished or created enough pressure to turn a winning round into a loss.

probably back to Johnqt sentinel and n4rrate flex duelist (init on some maps) with zekken picking up the sova.

its a kernal level anti cheat that basically forces the player to ONLY have delta force open.
It was something like, you couldnt have task manager open, no USB drives and a couple of other dumb things.
their has been plenty of back and forth between if its safe or not.

Delta force is fun, but i can see how the way they have their anti cheat is not good.
excited to play marvel though.

ill give leeway for Gyen, 18 with no T1 experience (or any tier of experience) at all.
he will get better with time, but the whole team seems really good.

i think with Gyen and better defense sides this team can be dangerous.

Meiy will finally have some shooters.

Only thing is though, they will have to slowly adapt to how Gyen plays compared to SSeeS.
i think theyll adapt quickly but Gyen still needs stage experience.

Tbh, if they can clean up the HORRENDOUS defense sides, i think they can be a great team.
Unfourtantly that comes with time, and it doesnt help that 2 new maps are coming back in RIGHT before the season starts.\
But as a DFM fan, im glad theirs more positives than negatives in terms of this new roster.

after how they were last season? they are looking a lot better, this tourny is great practice for the whole team to stay comfortable.

nah the rest of the maps look good for DFM, dont let this choke fool you yet.

DFM for some reason just loses the ability to play the game when in comes to Ascent defense.

I think SSeeS is very good, but i also think Gyen with a little more time and stage experience (only stage experience was RBHG) would do well.
Obviously will have moments where he will have mistakes but i still believe Gyen can be a great player.

i think it will work well, but will have to play a lot of Anti-kayo setups for it to work well.
i think its a solid comp tbh.

Kinda hope they do a mix of the vapor wave with the new colors, a homage to SPG.

Just have to give Gyen time and experience under Ssees, Gyen only saw the stage during RBHG and was unfortunately sick for this event.
He probably wont have a great first few matches but im willing to see how he progresses for DFM.

Love seeing how well Ssees is doing but I really want to see Gyen succeed.
Hopefully whatever happens, DFM stays winning.

i think if its an academy team (or a team thats under a franchise team) then they cant ascend.

i mean he last played october 27th, short amount of time but anything could happen.
