Never really played league. Is it insanely hard mechanically? Is it harder than Cs or valo in mechanics? Saw lot of ver old pros play at top level really well not just faker in lol but people say age matters too much in eSports mechanics. But doesn't seem to be the case in league. How is it different?

I have heard dota 2 is harder or StarCraft. Is that actually true?

dota 2 is by far the hardest game i've ever played (3,600 hours 5kmmr)
league is kinda laughable in comparison, the game is still fun and quite different but its so much easier in pubs its actually crazy

Tac fps isn't hard mechanically

League u need much faster fingers and apm depending on who you play

Why do you think is it such that mechanically older pros can stay at top level of league or moba more consistently compared to tac fps?
Like in Cs or val somehow old age affects pros more than in league.

Complete opposite, look at cs there's an abundance is boomer pros in tier 1

It's just that val is an newer game and there's an abundance of young players

In Cs tho all those older pros are like surviving mainly cause of their igling or experience. It's hard to see older pros be good mechanically in Cs compared to in league. So really curious what's the difference.

cs doesn’t change so there’s more weight to accumulating experience

Yeah which is why old pros are still relevant in Cs. But was talking about mechanics. Like in league older aged pros can still play at highest level in terms of mechanics but hard to see that in Cs or most shooter eSports.

Your wrist and fingers will get destroyed if you see how fast they play

pretty ez and fun compared to other mobas for casual play. Of course its hard when ur playing it professionally like every other mobas out there where every tiny thing is and micro movement matters.

I haven't played much of League and I'm extremely bad, but yes very hard. Its different to FPS mechanics, but even doing basic combos is hard for noob like me and these guys do crazy stuff and need to understand cooldowns, buffs etc. Like pressing keys on exact right order while also using mouse to click for moving and skillshots and look around map. On top of that you need to have insane knowledge of your position at all time and IMO its way harder to miss step on moba. And MOBAs are way more punishing if you make mistakes because it can snowball really badly.

Also Faker is only like 28 year old. And usually players having higher average age just shows how good you need to be able to compete at top. For example CS is so much more mastered combined with mechanics and that's why the average age is bit higher among pros. Valorant isn't as mastered or difficult and is newer so there's way more younger pros coming up all the time.

I've played Dota (which is the same), and just like every competitive game, mechanics easy to learn, hard to master

I don't think that LoL mechanics are the hardest part of the game, especially if you watch and learn from good players

It depends how you see it, Val/CS make you master only one mecanic (shoot) and his derivate, while LoL have a variety of a different mechanics with soon 200 champ...

But "hard" is a hard way to define, in my POV the hardest game is the game you have to beat the most people of. So yeah, LoL is the hardest game in the world with football, because to be the best you have to beat more people

Can't compare league or eSports to football or sports now. There are so many sports according to your statement which are way harder then league. According to your statement running is probably the hardest sport.

According to my last statement it depends.

I think not a lot of people are running in competition so, League is harder :/
Except football, I doubt any sport beat LoL in term of people doing comp

Well not that many people actually play pro level at league either. Most play it for fun or cause they hate their life is what I have heard. I don't know how you think league has more people in competition than most big sports. League is very popular game but not ever player who plays league try for pro level.

Ranked count as competition, even in Iron.

And you think most big sports don't have more competition than league in terms of playerbase? Bruh what are you talking about? League is nowhere near the level of most big sports even though it's the biggest eSports.

Playing competitive sport need more investment, you have to go to a specific place regularly (if you have one in your city), pay money. Lot of sport are really inaccessible beside football, the paradox is that in LoL a lot play ranked but doesn't care about esport while in Rugby it's the contrary, I would be surprises if more than 2 other sport would beat LoL in term of people playing competitive.

Bruh playing comp in league is literally similar to playing a basketball game competition between two teams from two school. And most big sports are way bigger than league in player base.bYou are thinking this so weirdly. Saying league is more accessible than most sports is crazy.

You are american, in other country we don't really have school tournament, so no it's not that accessible.

League is the sport everyone can play easily without moving whenever they want. SO mush less barrier than traditional sport.

not really, Dota is the hardest, League is basically just the tutorial for Dota

i don’t really understand the comparison between fps and moba games

true league almost feels like a fighting game with top view. It was made noob friendly like valorant.

yes, but don’t get it twisted i'm not saying that League is easy, especially at the highest level, it's insanely hard, and that’s why Faker is the goat. I just mean that from my perspective as a viewer, League is simpler, easier, and more fun to watch.

Genuine question, how does a game like Fn compare to those games mechanically? Without having played either much Fn looks harder to the eye

mechanically games go in this order
rocket league/fortnite purely off the age avg of pro players matching up almost perfectly with peak mechs age which is older teen-college aged
lol and moba based off there age and still being insane mechs wise( i don't have alot of experience with the genre might be lower might be higher)
fighting games/speedrunning more niche but can match up with the zoomer games of FN/RL in some insane cases

I've played dota 2, league, and valorant for at least 1k hours each game. League is way harder than valorant mechanically and strategically since you need to account on different things at the same time like positioning, laning, map awareness, different abilities that being thrown at you, landing skillshots, etc. But dota 2 is way harder than league, its basically league on steroids where you have more abilities, longer game, denying of creeps in laning, animation cancelling, more active items that's a double edge sword etc. The only thing where league is harder is on skillshots. The thing about valorant is that if you can shoot heads you can climb at least ascendant on rank, just pick iso, jett, and reyna and you can easily destroy enemies if you just have great aim.

imo this how gaming difficulty tier list would go
1st rocket league 2nd fortnite (debatable) purely off the age avg of pros in that game matching up almost perfectly with the age avg of reaction time and speed and youth like in general
3rd moba's lol dota etc
4-6th souls/souls like, fighting games, speedrunning(has potential to compete with the hardest games depending on the game but avg's out to here)
and last place is casual sandbox/story games

i forgot about it i would place it in between league and fn tho insane amount of needed experience it would be harder but cs2 master class might give younger players a chance and the amount of old heads still playing might make it actually harder than fn but those too games are legit perfect simulations of peak gaming ages and averages so i really can't put them any where else except 1st/2nd
