Why would i waste away my oportunities when there are others who have it worse. What right do i have to complain.

that's true,

however,
does knowing someone is worse off truly suffice? and for how long?

for example,
when does the difference between what you are and what you were meant to be obliterate that thought?

You were meant to be exactly who you are

There’s no other person or thing better at being you, than you ❤️

Maybe its not about where you were meant to be but how it is you see yourself being in your current position. If you always believe you were supposed to be something obviously greater, you will easily miss the greatness you already posses thinking that it couldve been better. And if you think you were meant to be something but arent then theres a chance that wasent what you were meant to be.

Didnt really know how to word it so forgive me for sucky writing.

The length varies for everyone bro. I have a friend who would mention his first girlfriend from HS (11th grade) 2-3 years later. I never would've imagined he would be stuck on her for that long, but he's good now.

My point was there are times you did have your reason, right? So, you just have to understand you don't have that right now but that doesn't mean you won't at some point.

Stay strong broski <3

the goals i have set in my life and the people im surrounded by
if you're missing the first one, the only way you can fill that in is just self reflection on what you enjoy and want to achieve and be
if you're missing the second one, meet more people and reflect on your character and how you behave towards others

Heavy agree. Set goals and pursue them but always be willing to change them if you decide something else is right. But progress usually is always productive and you’ll grow. Put the goals high and work towards them. You can do great things for the world

because I only have one life, so I might as well attempt to live it as best I can

#15

and what would that entail, exactly?

I'm genuinely curious

It's hard to say, but if I'd define living life as best as I can, it would be where in the future, I can look back at the life I lived and despite the faults and mistakes, I can still notice the good things that happened and overall be grateful for the time I was alive. If I can fulfill that, then I lived life the best I could and I'm happy with it.

think about it, there's plenty of good and understandable reasons one wouldn't want to get up in the morning.

and yet next to none are valid if compared to how inevitable life is.

Trust me, I have thought about it. Way more than I'd like to admit. And at the end of the day, nothing good comes out of it.

Life is what you make of it, man. If you don't have a good reason to get out of bed in the mornings, then make your own reason. That's the best that I can tell you.

it feels good to feel the autumn air
when i make eggs and sausage in the morning it tastes delicious
im happy when my neighbor comes by walking their dog who jumps on me
the first cup of coffee feels so refreshing its electric
i like my coworkers and it's fun to work alongside them
its fulfilling to do work that helps other people

when i go to the gym i feel myself getting stronger and improving my physique
when i read philosophy books they're compelling and make me realize things i never knew
when i study languages it feels good when i can finally say what i want to say
when i go out it's nice to compliment strangers and make them feel good
when i get into bed at night i feel comfortable and warm and relaxed

existing on the most basic level can be such a pleasant thing if you're aware of it

life is worth living because it is a chance for u to discover ur weaknesses and turn it into ur biggest strengths in order to become successful

right now, I'm not in my best form when it comes to academics because I am having difficulty understanding the lessons, but I can have a tutor to help me or just a review sessions with my friends.

anyone will overcome their weaknesses if they give themselves enough time to start doing it

usually I wake up hungry

rs tho, idk your beliefs but to me life may be the last chance at 'experiencing'. As in it might be the last time I even get to feel hungry, last time I get to wake up, last time I get to be conscious etc., just the last time you can experience anything at all. If there's an eternity of nothingness at the end of my life I want to make my life as good and as long as possible, even if it means having to go through tough times

Because I enjoy being alive and love spending time with my family and friends and I want to do more eith my life whether that's getting a promotion or going through a new experience I haven't gone through yet

And those lottery tickets aren't going to buy themselves

I think of it like this if you don't wake up you will be in the middle you won't experience pain nor will you experience happiness but living is a gamble except if your in a first world country you have pretty high odds of living a happy life. But the thing is it's ok if everyday you wake up and you don't live the ideal life according to society by working a low paying job with high amounts of effort even through that adversity you will find happiness it may be little but you are very grateful for it because of the disproportionate amount of it but it will be worth enough to negate the pain, to make life worth living it's better than nothing and even if that's not the case at least you tried at least you will die happy knowing you tried and just didn't give up. Idk if that's what you wanted but yeah
