Demon1 ---> Derke

Apparently NRG is trialing? Derke or in talks with him (Not a verbal agreement). If anything settles between NRG and a new duelist player Demon1 is going to leave 99%. Of course his smokes looked good in 2023 but I doubt he will go full time controller/ flex for now. Derke is definitely an upgrade for NRG (Derke > Demon1 in 2024) but it might lead to language barriers (Derke speaks good English but he still has an accent).

For now the NRG roster looks like:

I think demon1 would be good again in 2025, definitely not prime 2023 level but he would be good again
like tenz he had some issues with his gfs health issues and took a break he will be back

i was just speaking generally, i haven't heard derke talk that much. i thought the person i replied to meant because of how bad the accent and not because he has an accent, if he meant the latter then i'd agree that it's crazy

I mean he's on a team with a Russian, Brit, Turk and Swede, that's a massive array of accents but they still managed to win 2 trophies with the roster
