bro PCIFIC looks insane, too bad like 3 of their players are too young to play T1 next year

winning champs might be too much tho

Have faith. It will be worth it when it happens

very real chance of happening if GENG cooks again and DRX (Termi) don't fumble their current roster's development

GENG will need to get really lucky next year (if they keep their roster) meanwhile foxy9 is developed and still bad.

i do still have faith that DRX could have an epiphany and stop trolling eventually. might be stockholm syndrome but there is still some optimism there

Do you think they are a villain or something😭? Why Stockholm syndrome

repeatedly watching this team land 5-6th, have multiple questionable roster decisions, and then fumble qualification to two internationals this year has done some things to me

7-0 up vs geng for shanghai qualification in the 2nd map… yikes

I really wish they'd have just decided to get a proper Senti player and possibly an igl change before this whole rebuild. Rb is actually god's gift to the flex role, the dude is insane. Zest was also amazing, but either of the two players for Flashback would have made roles so much clearer, and might have helped a lot more than Foxy9 on duelist, just screwing with the roles even more.

In foxy9’s defense, he was forced to switch roles a ridiculous amount of times in the past year. He went from duelist -> initiator -> sentinel (which he spent a lot of time on and got very comfortable with) -> initiator

This current iteration of DRX has a pretty good chance to win a trophy (masters or champs) IMO. For a team that has 2 rookie players, they played very well at Champs. Next season they'll be better and hopefully win a trophy for Pacific.

that's where my hope comes from. if Buzz stops throwing in some advantage situations & they can form into a more cohesive organism it's only a matter of time before they yield fruit. the questionable part is them getting to that point

Facts, like I like BuZz but he does overheat a little too much when they have man advantage. But that aside, I can't think of any other issues they have off the top of my head.

the biggest hurdle is that they're still sloppy and inexperienced, but that's like saying water's wet. them dominating the regular season and qualifying to champs in the way they did is very admirable. if they grow into all of their shells like they've been seen doing so far then it's only up from here

Totally agree. I think in the next regular season, everyone in DRX will look better than before. Hopefully, MaKo gets more comfortable as IGL and Termi cook some new strats and execs.

From an audience perspective MaKo looks to be cultivating in his igl position well. The only thing I could see screwing it up is a big meta shift, but knowing RIOT that ain't gonna happen. I'm confident Termi is gonna shake off all the fraud allegations next season

Yeah, I think from our perspective as viewers he looked better than expected but I think from his perspective, he still isn't fully comfortable yet if that makes sense. When he was talking about taking up Stax's role, I think he said he felt overwhelmed (something like that) and how as an IGL, you can't focus on your own game (which makes sense).

Termi cook some new strats and execs.

i hope so because after he let fracture through vs eg in champs for some reason i had zero hope in him

That and not picking Abyss against SEN even though Abyss is DRX's best map. Termi has interesting ideas that turn into an overcook but I'm praying for improvement next season.
