After today’s grand final match, I don’t ever wanna see Asspas’ name in any “greatest duelist” or “GOAT” discussion ever again. His peak isn’t even nowhere near KK’s peak.
KK made Aspas look like a bullied kid, crying to his mama.
sensucks [#2]he really does crumble against aggro as fuck duelists
The attack OP on abyss was just not it.
(Talking about aspas if it’s not clear)

reminds me of NRG Demon1 being told to play attack OP a lot of the times when he was on Jett, especially in Kick Off.
dUDEX [#5]I mean being on the top for so long is not as easy as you guys think it is. next year aspas ill probably still be top 3 even with his trash LEV team.
Put KK in Aspas’ place and LEV would have won Champions. LEV is not trash. Aspas is.
Sage-Breach [#7]Put KK in Aspas’ place and LEV would have won Champions. LEV is not trash. Aspas is.
Kangkang got diffed by QCK bro, kk just have a better team.

now you can shut up and use your brain?
LEV literally does not play a single flash for aspas in icebox abyss.
KK has far better support than aspas, you can say that KK have a better OP rifle movement or anything but you cannot say that aspas has better support than KK.
Sage-Breach [#7]Put KK in Aspas’ place and LEV would have won Champions. LEV is not trash. Aspas is.
-aspas
+kangkang
LEV make no internationals this year. aspas in americas was literally putting up '21 tenz and '22 yay stats.

average bronzillian, aspas' team is insane, he just isn't a selfless duelist and that costs them
nobody___100 [#13]average bronzillian, aspas' team is insane, he just isn't a selfless duelist and that costs them
You have diabetes blindness, chichoo and smoggy were the best on their positions.
The difference is consistency. Aspas is the goat because he is the most consistent player in the world and can drop 30 any map of any game. KK has a similar skill set but has very high highs and some of the lowest lows. In other words Aspas is so much more consistent that even at his lows it is better than KK average.

The difference is Asspus is playing for stats, trying to get praise each and every play, while KK plays WITH his team. Asspus will easily amass 30k each game because he’s baiting his teammates, trying to be relevant, seeking validation.
copiumprxfan [#11]Insane how ppl actually disrespecting aspas after a 1.14 rating, this guy has been miles ahead of everyone since 2022 and ppl start discrediting him after an once in a lifetime performance from kk
valorant players have the worst case of recency bias
pugz [#3]The difference is that Aspas can be great for 80 of 100 matches and KK can be great in like 40 of 100 matches.
But when both are in peak form, maybe KK is better
i’d say 50/100 for kk. But the special thing about kk, is that it’s his unselfish playstyle that makes his consistency worse than aspas. kk will never shy away from a first engagement even if he’s dying first a lot. Since EDG are so good a trading he always gets value no matter what, kk just might be the perfect duelist
Sage-Breach [#7]Put KK in Aspas’ place and LEV would have won Champions. LEV is not trash. Aspas is.
They would not have won. They would have gotten 4th or worse. You will notice LEVs downfall was aspas OPing on attack and that’s all KK does.

see aspas doesnt play for stats he's just better than everyone else, he plays duelist as an ancor on defense so if his team dies on site it seems like he's baiting when it's apart of their game plan. People like you need to watch the games insted of just assuming
Average_NA_fan [#25]it took 3 years for k0ng k0ng to do what aspas did in his rookie year
when has aspas ever played as good as kang kang in the final
44 opening attempts from KK in 4 maps
22 opening attempts from Aspas in 4 maps
Both of these guys have entirely different styles, but KK's style is higher risk. He'll enter even with utility or his team to support him, but now that his team was finally cohesive we saw what he was fully capable of. Aspas is THE consistent player regionally. You can't shit on him. He's an excellent player, but it is frustrating to see him last alive for his team so often lmao.

if he always gets traded then why is his kast so low?
Zerphyr1 [#31]if he always gets traded then why is his kast so low?
surprisingly edg has lost rounds before!
Hyopic [#32]surprisingly edg has lost rounds before!
even if he gets traded thats still more value towards his kast
edg losing rounds has very little to do with this discussion

If the trade takes longer than 4 seconds then it doesn't count towards KAST iirc, notice how smoggy chichoo and s1mon are in the top 10 for KAST at the tournament, trades just take a while. When I say the rounds lost matter its because there are rounds where kangkang will go in, die and then the guy attempting to trade will die, it happens it's a part of the game but doesn't discredit how the team functionally plays together. EDG wouldn't have won the tournament if they were shit at trading, that much is clear.
akumaaaa [#36]im not even an aspas fan but this was the ONLY good performance from kangkang that had impact
Nope
