school shootings are probably because of the availability of guns but there isnt really a great way to solve this - guns wont ever be outlawed in the US and the vast vast majority of gun crime is committed by pistols, not the rifles that are currently being legislated.

knives and stuff exist, but i see ur point. regardless, guns are so proliferated across the US that any gun ban would a) be unconstitutional and b) never work. theres probably hundreds of millions of guns across the US

and biden is supporting legislation on rifles, but that probably wont do anything to gun crime

it was one of the original reasons for the 2nd amendment. during the american revolution there was a shortage of weapons, so the 2nd amendment made sure that if the people wanted a rebellion they would be armed and prepared. there are some patriotic people, but then there are a lot of people who despise living here. like i know some people that think their life would magically be better if they just moved to a different country.
