You are right. Though without impetus to learn about social issues in someone's formative years, it is unlikely natal views will change as they grow as people. Community reinforcement of behaviours also has the potential to negate personal bias-checking.

I was basically posting on 4chan everyday as a 16 year old. regularly wrote pretty heinous shit too, way worse than what gets said here. still learned basic empathy and compassion eventually. didn’t take a major revelation it was just standard maturing
I’m not worried about the kids, it’s the guys in their late 20s echoing shit my teenage self would say that are actually concerning

As a man, I think we can 100% advocate for it wholeheartedly without trying to detract from pride. Unfortunately since it just becomes a way to pivot from discussions surrounding pride, most of these men seldom ever do anything about it. They complain about how large social movements are compared to ones about men, while never considering it’s because we are 1. Already the dominant group, and 2. Responsible for making any of our own movements larger
