That's not wrong, just incomplete. They has also always been used as a gender neutral term when you are not familiar with the person you are talking about. "Someone left their backpack here. I hope they come back for it" is an example.

How does Riot intentionally trying to create a diverse spectrum of agents, which does not in ANY way affect the gameplay, have any downsides? News flash, non-binary people exist and play the game so I don't think it's gonna ruin the game to have a singular non-binary agent.
Also, if you make a mistake on their pronouns while trying your best, people aren't going to be mad at you. It's clearly aimed at people intentionally misgendering them that are getting banned.

Valorant agents have always been more than a bot holding a gun though. They intentionally create lore behind them so obviously even if it isn't necessary, it's something they want to have in their game. Just like the cinematics aren't necessary, but they still create them. Clove's gender is just apart of their lore.
Doesn't !clove just state that she's non-binary and uses they/them? Maybe I just haven't seen other ones

He had a couple of underperforming games but his incredible performance against FNATIC makes up for it in my biased opinion. He was leading DRX in their elimination game and almost beat the repeat champions

Comms are the most important thing in ranked games from Iron - Diamond 3. I don't care which players are on which team, if a team is trying to win and comming consistenly, they will win 9/10 games. Silent players tank a team's success all my homies hate no comms
DRX are top international contenders...Tottenham are struggling to get Top 4 in their own league
