I use brave only because it has ad blocker. What browser do you guys use?
(Please don't say Internet Explorer 😭)
chauste [#10]vivaldi
lets goooo I also vivaldi, never thought I would find someone that also does use it
ALoKi007 [#12]Isn't it a little slow?
maybe if ur on a laptop with limited gpu/ram. the sidebar and other optionality is really great tho
chauste [#20]maybe if ur on a laptop with limited gpu/ram. the sidebar and other optionality is really great tho
I tried some years ago, it seems to be too crowded to me :\ though the UI and some features like screen capture and all are a W
0fcuZ [#33]Does brave AdBlock works on twitch?
They don't show ads but just show that purple to yellow gradient screen for about 15 seconds.
smthlikeyou11 [#27]how does not a single person mention chrome wtf
Many browsers use chromium, but yeah chrome consumes more memory and doesn't have adblocker. The more and less compact the browser, the better it is!
ALoKi007 [#34]They don't show ads but just show that purple to yellow gradient screen for about 15 seconds.
Oooo ok, ty
MrShadow [#35]chrome coz the browser sync between my windows pc, MacBook and android
I am too broke to use chrome then 😂
smthlikeyou11 [#27]how does not a single person mention chrome wtf
chrome is garabge, other than the account switching features.
laifu [#42]Firefox due to its full compatility with Ad/Content blockers such as uBlock Origin
woah there are adblockers in FireFox?!
ALoKi007 [#43]woah there are adblockers in FireFox?!
not exactly, but has a plethora of extensions built for the best ad blocking (mainly ublock origin)
I recently started (Microsoft) Edging, simply because my CPU is a fucking wonder of man and gets fucky wucky when I have too many chrome tabs open (literally 1) which crashes my pc due to some cpu and ram error that, the error code, says is cpu sided. Also tried Opera and it still crashed my PC with 1 tab open.
Yes, this is a cry for help.
But Edge has been solid so far, it feels the exact same as chrome but with lower ram usage.
laifu [#44]not exactly, but has a plethora of extensions built for the best ad blocking (mainly ublock origin)
I have used firefox for around 5 years but never knew this actually existed! Thanks!
Overlay [#46]Brave. Surprised many people use it too.
It promotes itself on many platforms and have an adblocker for itself lmao

Someone gift this dude a new pc 😭😭😭
maybe you can try Opera. It has a memory limit as well.
ALoKi007 [#22]Have you tried any other browsers?
chrome edge.opera gx and Firefox is still the best
ALoKi007 [#55]Without looking at you I can tell you have a unique personality
I will take that as a compliment
A custom config of firefox
Lets you benefit from the google money without having to deal with the abundance of inbuilt trackers (mainstream browsers) or shady af ethics (most other "privacy" browsers)
Just a shame that its a really high bar of entry (although people are sharing their configs that you can just copy if you want it to work out of the box)
And with tracking pixels now being everywhere who tf knows if it actually matters but oh well
Froakie14 [#66]Chrome+Extensions clears
you can do epic customisations using those extensions
and it blocks ads on twitch too
Wait it can block twitch ads too??!! Damn!

W deal for sure
Used to use opera but swapped back to chrome just so that everything syncs between my phone and work/home pc a lot easier. Also for some reason the opera built in password manager is kinda buns especially on mobile it didnt save for a lot of sites.
I use Adguard for mobile and pc adblocking so built in blockers aren't a prio for me

Wouldn’t that be ram issue what kinda cpu do you have 💀
ALoKi007 [#11]Why is that?
firefox:
i_am_mako [#49]Microsoft edge
Edge has a great PDF reader and nice features like workspaces. Also has a free VPN preview now.
ALoKi007 [#53]hmm... Interesting 🧐what do you use it for mainly? 🚔
Brave has an inbuilt Tor option.
Froakie14 [#66]Chrome+Extensions clears

Edge is a better Chrome now. Chrome used to be better before.
revokeshoots [#84]firefox:
- has the least amount of trackers
- better/more accessible settings for disabling even more trackers
- UI is nicer and less cluttered than most other browsers
- the devs are constantly working on it and pushing great updates
- it's open source
- can have almost any extension you need like other browsers, if not working better (ublock origin, for example.)
- you can also import your entire chrome/edge into firefox so the swap is easy.
- easier to run and way more efficient than anything chromium-based
Edge is more more efficient but I still use firefox 🗿
Overlay [#96]it didn't work, genius. It still auto-starts the browser.
u changed it in task manager?
M7mdA13 [#73]Chrome + uBlock and Brave are goated for me, but i need to try OGX

Finally heard about some drawback opera offers 😅
ShaoFeng [#78]Safari on phone google on laptop
google on laptop
Google is a search Engine not a browser dude?
rrehab [#80]opera gx but i wanna switch soon (just don't know to which one)
Brave is nice and less compact, maybe try that. I will be shifting to Opera
taejuny [#81]I use edge my friends clown me but I like my points and it’s fast. Plus bing ai is nice. Have around 87k points lifetime free amazon giftcards I can then spend on valorant skins or whatever.
You really grind bing dont you 🗿
munestar [#92]OperaGX, i want to switch cus of the trackers but i cant find a browser with similar benefits 😢😢😢
Have you tried brave?
ALoKi007 [#105]google on laptop
Google is a search Engine not a browser dude?
Do you mean "Google Chrome"?
Klaw69 [#111]I'm using the Windows version, still on beta phase
Never heard of Arc before :/ which OS does it work on?
Saiki_taha [#109]Brave +tor +no tracking
Is tor really that good? Never tried before
Ohh wait brave has inbuilt tor 🤦♂️ my bad
ALoKi007 [#113]Never heard of Arc before :/ which OS does it work on?
It's a freeware web browser only available fr iOS and macOS... windows version is not released officially yet. I can use it cause I joined their beta-testing
canyon [#114]Only amateurs use brave, that's the only thing I gotta say
Chrome and firefox are the best, and the people who say "you can't do (x) on Chrome!!1" just don't know how to use internet
Brave actually is really good. For what I have seen, chrome uses lots of memory (resource-heavy browser) and needs extensions for working (ad blocker).
Whereas, brave on the other hand has inbuilt ad blocker and consumes less memory. And is also fast cause it blocks ads which reduces the amount of resources needed for loading web pages.
Can't argue about firefox 🗿
yuriito [#83]Firefox.
Open source.
Ublock origin works perfectly.
Linux friendly.
Doesn't sell your data to other corporations.
Based.
Based indeed 🔥

Yeah jus tread you have to sign-up and they will then give you the beta privilege after some days. Ping me once it's over and actual version is published on windows. Would love to try it!

Memory is not a concern for me as I'm running 32 gigs ram and ryzen 7 so performance not an issue, it's not the browsers fault that it is requiring more juice to run its just time to upgrade ur stuff, and as far loading pages go, there is almost unnoticeable difference between loading times. People act as if saving 0.2s on every page will change their lives smh

Then what about this? if you are saying "People act as if saving 0.2s on every page will change their lives smh"???!!!
Existential_crisis [#127]Bcuz ios sucks , i am stuck with safari . Or safari with a wig and lipstick. Just waiting for eu to spank that tim cooks ass again so that they allow proper sideloading
W take lol

thank you i might try that one

There is so much customization on it. Legit took me like hours to get it to a point that I was happy with, but once I got everything set up it was so nice.
Cannot [#131]There is so much customization on it. Legit took me like hours to get it to a point that I was happy with, but once I got everything set up it was so nice.
Is there a way you can share it? I would like to try it once
emirerays [#132]People are saying edge but its quite ass. Just use chrome man
You get reward points using bing 🗿 The only good use
ALoKi007 [#133]Is there a way you can share it? I would like to try it once
there is a site with all types of different themes (I don't know if they take the custom settings as well) but I would recommend looking at that and seeing what you like and going from there.
But it is just has so much customization to the point where it can be overwhelming.
CraigGarth01 [#135]Have started using Arc recently and it is the single best browser I have ever used.
It's only downside is it's performance speed as compared to google chrome, but still I don't see myself switching from it for a long time
What if compared to Brave?
bingbongbing123 [#138]I still use Chrome. I use uBlock and Adguard DNS for adblocking.
Do you have any themes which you would recommend? Like I have the default one and want to change but can't find a good one :/
