LoL, Dota and all these mobile MOBA games pull so many viewers and players it's crazy how do they even do that

1st and 2nd place are in the upper bracket (they could lose twice)
3rd and 4th place are in the mid bracket (they could lose once)
5th and 6th are in the lower bracket (they lose = eliminated)

The lower and middle bracket teams need to win more games to get to the grand final.
They made the bracket to reward the best teams which i can understand but it's still kinda weird

i mean it's hard to find a good format for 12 teams tournaments. It would be cool to have 16 teams at the masters, but i think that riot wouldn't do that because it would make Champions less special

What would you prefer:

A Format similar to Tokyo: Group Stage with 2 Groups of 4 Teams. The winners of stage 1 would be put in play-offs (I think they said that Shanghai would have 12 Teams)

or

A Swiss Stage with 8 Teams: The 4 best Teams will advance to a second Swiss stage with the 4 Stage 1 Winners (4 best teams of that stage would advance to Play-offs)

And purp0 is reportedly gonna be the duelist with f1tinho switching roles
