Loud 2-1 KCPrx 2-1 Geng
regional matchups DIESOFCRINGE
we will see u in the finals GENG.
alecksdesk [#13]regional matchups DIESOFCRINGE
we will see u in the finals GENG.
Agreed, aint no way that put 2 pacific teams against each other and same for americas
Astar [#23]may the best team win!!!!!
whoever wins i hope this is the time where APAC can finally lift the trophy
Let's goooooo #APACPRIDE
iznten [#21]prx 50 meter shorty attempts, unhinged knife kills and aggressive plays makes valorant hella fun to watch but might not work around much more disciplined teams......
does he know
prophet1 [#26]https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/28d22fac
PRX win
Sry my brother GenG is lose.
WHAT? DID YOU GET EVERY GAME RIGHT????
prophet1 [#26]https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/28d22fac
PRX win
Sry my brother GenG is lose.
As it was written
ShaoFeng [#27]Agreed, aint no way that put 2 pacific teams against each other and same for americas
bobstar thinks prx 2-1 gen, last map is lotus
prophet1 [#26]https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/28d22fac
PRX win
Sry my brother GenG is lose.
Bro's name is prophet for a reason 😭😂
prophet1 [#26]https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/28d22fac
PRX win
Sry my brother GenG is lose.
I don't see Loud beating GenG. Other than that valid
oyasumi [#46]Technically if EU wants to cope, alecks is "half french" so I guess they can root for PRX
Something is Russian, so I guess 1/5 of PRX is eu 🙃
potatoscar [#55]the match result will not depend on the coaching staff, not strats or macros, not map pick/ban, instead it will be based entirely on how awake something and monyet are . if they are asleep, geng win.
It doesn't matter how awake smth and monyet are if texture and meteor also awake
Fruitless [#63]I want to see Paper Rex go to the final route via the lower bracket, so I can see lots of PRX matches. so GENG 2-1 PRX 😈😈
And they looked better and better on that lower bracket run too against TH and KC
SENBobstar [#47]bobstar thinks prx 2-1 gen, last map is lotus
in bobstar we trust(maybe 2-0 prx tho, unless s3xture and meteor show up and frag out
Prathades [#68]Bro, the betting odds are basically 50-50. they're not confident on who is winning
ofc, geng has already beaten prx and they look super strong and disciplined, but prx is prx. YOU CAN NEVER COUNT THEM OUT.
Conut [#76]Good Luck To All Parties Involved In This Massacre By Moan Yeh
I know I moan but u don't have to expose me like that
BeKind [#73]GENG always win 2-1
https://www.vlr.gg/296747/gen-g-vs-paper-rex-champions-tour-2024-pacific-kickoff-winners-c
I think gen.g will win as well
nabluevy [#2]someone will win; another will lose
the team will win will win, the team will lose will lose :>
Zerphyr1 [#1]
Loud 2-1 KCPrx 2-1 Geng
Listen up, you keyboard warriors on VLR.gg, because I'm about to lay down some cold, hard facts that'll knock your socks off. You think you know Valorant? Think again, because f0rsaken isn't just a player, he's a freakin' legend. His aim? It'll make your jaw drop faster than a boulder off a cliff. His brain? It's like he's playing 4D chess while the rest of us are stuck on checkers.
Aggressive, passive, he'll dance between them like a pro, making you look like amateurs in the process. Roles, agents? He'll handle them with such finesse, you'll wonder if he's got a cheat code to the game.
But here's the kicker: he's not just a solo act. Oh no, this guy is the ultimate team player. He'll pull off plays that'll leave you scratching your head, all while orchestrating team maneuvers smoother than butter on a hot pan.
And utilities? It's like watching a magician at work, except instead of pulling rabbits out of hats, he's pulling off game-winning moves left and right.
So next time you think you're hot stuff on VLR.gg, just remember: f0rsaken is out there, making you look like clueless plebs without even breaking a sweat.

voxsu [#85]Listen up, you keyboard warriors on VLR.gg, because I'm about to lay down some cold, hard facts that'll knock your socks off.
So next time you think you're hot stuff on VLR.gg, just remember: f0rsaken is out there, making you look like clueless plebs without even breaking a sweat.

adimas82 [#118]KJ IS BETTER IN LOTUS AND FORESKIN CAN PLAY KJ TOO, CYPHER HAS NO IMPACT AND FORESKIN BEEN HAVING BAD STAT TOO WITH CYPHER, EVEN FROM THE LAST YEAR, WHY THEY STILL MAINTAIN THAT COMPS, I DONT FKIN UNDERSTAND

I agree with this take but you also gotta give props to how bad prx is playing. Geng knows prx is kinda like a aggressive team that doesnt fake much so if u see like skye + raze A you can call a rotate. But yea, seeing geng run around when they spot 1 dude is actually sickening dumb

I swear PRX coach is the biggest fraud of the team. He overcooks comps so much. Why this team always wants to try reinventing the wheel man, If there's already a meta comp just use it..

It could also be Forsaken's creative direction, if you look at Yoru. PRX was the first to use it. Now its a meta, so now are you proud of PRX for championing the Yoru meta? They dare to use weird comp to defy the meta. If you want meta u dont need to watch PRX. Just watch the EMEA or ZETA defaulting first 1 minute holding angles. This team gives us heart attacks and win the impossible rounds at times. Thats what makes and breaks PRX. But of coz, what is PRX without throwing? Hehe. Chill its just a game, we bystander just support them <3

Im pretty sure its very very good to have a player like that in a team, so creative . Unlucky that PRX recruited Botnyet that cant even play anything and having 0 impact. Not even once positive since ever he joined PRX. See how creative Forsaken when Jingg was there but now, he needs to fill all the gap that BOTNYET cannot do.

coach role is to make sure the team keep on track. Even the greatest author and mangaka needs an editor to make sure the work is on it's right direction. Sure PRX wants to be that cool quirky team, But when your coach is the first one that lost the mental game, being a yes man to every suggestion (what the hell was that 3 duelists comp). He's a fraud.

Do note that this is just a mickey mouse tournament. Maybe in the kitchen, they asked themselves :'If Since we dont have Jinggg, why not just add one more duelist for more firepower?' HAHAHAHHA i think its the aggression that makes PRX so hard to play against, like how they dealt with KC. Then again, it's true that their defending on split could have been better executed, 2 1 2. Its ok. Let them learn and become better. Cheers mate! :D

If thats really a problem, why doesnt it be a huge problem when Jingg plays instead of Botnyet? They have the same coach, remember. Ofcourse I accepted that Botnyet is way worse than Jingg but atleast be confident. He himself said, he had no confident playing Raze in Split , thats why Jason needs to play Raze and eliminate all those creativeness that Jason had in mind. Even if you argue, they still lose grandfinal even when Jingg was there, remember brother, its a consistent grandfinal and champion contender twice. Texture also not playing pure duelist on GE previously , hes a KJ one trick on GE, why cant Botnyet adapt the same?

And what are you trying to get from that? Cut monyet off? Then who will be the replacement? Will you say that replacement is shit again when they cannot fill jinggg's shoes?
solsolid [#140]And what are you trying to get from that? Cut monyet off? Then who will be the replacement? Will you say that replacement is shit again when they cannot fill jinggg's shoes?
Botnyet should adapt faster and be confident eventhough he's shit. He's making other 4 of his teammates game terrible. Mindfreak,Jason,Davai,Something all of them such a crazy player, just a fraud Botnyet make the team crumbled.
After seeing what FNS said in his stream regarding what PRX can improve on. It's made me realize as a PRX fan that Alecks needs some assistant coaches to help him. Alecks is an amazing coach as is but to be burdening the responsibility of coaching one of the best Valorant team in the world, being a mentor to the players, and coming up with strategies when facing teams is way too much for one person. He needs at least 1 assistant to help give him an extra opinion and potentially specialize in creating set retakes and/or defaults on offense (like FNS said). But props to Alecks always and to all the PRX players, always proud to be a fan no matter if win or lose. Hope they make a good lower bracket run!

Need Benjyfishy to cheer him on T_T

keep in mind jinggg also have his way too risky almost braindead plays that put his team into tight spot when he got shot down. When that is the blue print of how you should play. It's understandable monyet perform bad. He have to try to find his own style.
Also in Indonesia valo yt podcast, Monyet said on his Onic days that he really is braindead, just entry and shoot head. His team's calling was what helped him play well.
So imo, when he is in a team like PRX where there's no dedicated igl and every single player are demanded to think, it hinders his performance more

I honestly don't know why they don't do that. It's like they are nerfing themselves

Really good point honestly and hopefully W gaming will make it to the finals
Mangal [#148]43 rounds and Mindfreak total kills 13. Who put that imposter to pro league? PRX must get rid of him otherwise will never taste the champions spot.
He always choke vs big team

Probably spend to much on player

You do realise PRX had quite a good success rate with this comp last year on lotus...right? They swapped out cypher for astra for no reason other than probably anti-stratting opponents' antistrats which imo is overcooking, but the current lotus and split comps were their best iterations.
And you gotta know PRX is the team that always overcooks, even their Sunset no duelist looks crazy at the start but they're pulling it off so far. They were the first to show Yoru being viable in the international stage (Reyna too, but just a little bit). Their games are definitely not good for the heart but point malding when they are just playing their own game.

everyone has bad games, plus, these guys are still so young too.
Some thoughts on PRX:
I really really like the team, I think it's a bit opportunist writting this after they lost but it's still honest constructive criticism nonetheless.
But things didn't work for them, even if they reached top4 here (still a great success tbh)
Forsaken, davai are insane performers, same with something, mindfreak and monyet if the set-up is correct. But I'm afraid that the pair mindfreak-monyet is not working out at all. I think PRX should stick to mindfreak no matter what. And I really love monyet too but he is not ready to be the raze main for the team.
They have 2 routes from now on, either keep monyet on the team so he can improve his raze, or trade him to another team (he deserves to be in a top team too) for a player that fits better on the raze role the team needs. I hope monyet sticks to smokes in the future, tho.
videte [#150]at this point im ok if prx losing as long its exciting to watch, this game is boring fr
okay seatard
Prathades [#100]wrong already
damn I missed by a mile 😂 well this was more of a best case scenario for me but oh well at least I predicted the same outcome
they turned out to be more disappointing than I expected
