I think 2 slot would be more fair atm but honestly after seeing how much edg improved with experience i'm willing to give chinese teams more chance to learn from international competition. Reason being Chinese viewership and esports investment in valorant would be huge for the game's future after looking at league.
doesn't work with every country especially with such a short time span of less than a year. Reason why it works with china is cause they have the esports infrastructure to actually support and sustain growth. The orgs there are massive with good staff and such and the talent is there because the country has 1.4 billion ppl.

The presence of infrastructure and talent in one game doesnt just translate to another. China is good at olympics doesnt mean football clubs start investing in Chinese football because sports/atheltic infrastructure is present. You need companies willing to invest and nurture the scene. Riot does it for China in the case of Lol and Valorant because they are biased and forced to do so.

Blizzard is the best example of this. They make so much money having their games in china because there's an insane amount of ppl living there that likes to play games and watch games. Being forced or biased is not the reason when the region makes them so much money and carrying the esports scene for one of their games.

These markets dont just happen to be there, they are created and nurtured by special interest groups such as Tencent, Riot and the Chinese state. Also if population equaled more talent, we would also have 3 Indian orgs in Champs.
They have potential talents there its just the esport market and infrastructure is not there and the population don't think esports is something that ppl should go in as an actual career. Literally its shamed on and look down upon there why would kids grind games there if the opportunity to make a lot of money is not there in that region. India and China views on esports is completely different lol you can't compare those two countries.
Tbf other than EDG and maybe just maybe BLG the level is very low compared to top franchised teams.
It's true that the 5th EMEA team is kinda meh but that's what you get when you have the goat team in your region.
Also not having leviatan is not a huge loss after how they performed and for now the only loss that sentinels not participating can give to the Valorant scene is for clout, not for the level of play itself, even tho players are hyping them up so we can only hope
I think it's important for China to have 3 slots. The more Chinese teams to make it to international LANs, the more likely we'll get more competition inside of the Chinese Region. It took EDG to make it to 2 LANs before they really established themselves, I think it would be really cool if there was another 2 teams or even just one other team from China to also be considered competitive.
