dude what? They had to go through groups stage in Tokyo where they beat NAVI and T1, and then they had to win another game vs Loud to get 5/6th.

posted 3 weeks ago

what? no they didn't, Sentinels and Gambit won masters in 2021

posted 3 weeks ago

Wait are we gonna ignore that they also came 5/6th at Champs 2023 and Tokyo 2023?

posted 4 weeks ago

is 5/6th not a good international showing? They did that 3 times before winning Champs.

posted 4 weeks ago

Haodong was their igl until he got replaced by S1mon and nobody took over igl-ing. After that they won Champs. Please get your facts straight

posted 4 weeks ago

How you gonna explain them beating PRX, Sentinels, and Leviatan then

3/5 of their players wouldn't have been able to play if they won anyways. Apeks winning was the better outcome

the old titans all collapsing...

posted 6 months ago

No I think the players prefer it this way, and they respected their decisions by not milking it too much

posted 6 months ago

That's true, glad to see that respect within the scene

I'm surprised at how well Sentinels managed to hide this from the leakers. We had no idea TenZ and Sacy were retiring at all until they announced it. W marketing team

weren't you the one who just said pcific 13-1?

posted 6 months ago

I think they would at least do better than Gentle Mates

that sounds pretty flexy ngl

fix roles by getting rid of their flex? your brain's broken

"Mini has indicated that he is looking to take a break from coaching and will likely not be joining another team for the 2024 VCT season."

shouldn't it be the 2025 VCT season?

Unfortunately you're right

posted 6 months ago

Well his point is what matters: EDG beat the 4th, 3rd, and 2nd place teams at Champs, as well as a SEN who were playing close-ish to Madrid level

posted 6 months ago

ohhh that's how you do that, I knew it was possible but I had no idea how to do it. Thanks for this!

posted 6 months ago

If he finds out they won Champs he might just combust on the spot

posted 6 months ago

I'm not gonna try to argue with you braindead ppl, just let someone who is actually respected by Valorant's pro scene tell you.

I think KangKang played well but his impact wasn't the greatest on his team until the Grand Finals. In terms of impact I would say that Chichoo definitely had a near Tokyo-Alfajer level performance at Champs

posted 6 months ago

Feats wise I gotta say Nobody > Biank > BerLin = Haodong

posted 6 months ago

EDG got revenge on SEN for ur team, shouldn't u be thanking them?

posted 6 months ago

it doesn't matter since they were never able to get good scrims during those years, the level of play in China has never been good enough for them to actually develop a team identity. You can see this during Shanghai when AfTer said in a post-match interview that they were using the masters to "test things out" since they literally just aim-diff every team in China so any strat works, that's why they never performed well at Masters. They finally got quality scrims at Champs when PRX decided to help them practice, and now they've won, which shows how good practices can really do for them once they really got to develop a proper playstyle.
