thats generalising all women. what about women who want to choose to be dependant, or choose to not work? maternal leave in the USA is the worst in the world. they dont care if you have a child, they want you working while juggling being a single mother and paying off your student loans at the same time. no time to nurture your child. yes i agree that men also need to present(one does not work without the other) , but women hold most of the responsibility. where as the man holds all or most of the responsibility to provide, protect, be reliable, im not complaining about it, thats the only way it can be.
that’s the beauty of feminism. women having rights allows them to choose whatever path they want to go down in life. you want to be a housewife? a mother? a lawyer? a doctor? having rights and opportunities allow that. voting, fighting for better maternal leave, and everything else comes with it. that’s just my 2 cents 🥰
