After Closely monitoring these two great players I believe that ScreaM is the better player. Looking back at their previous matches We can clearly see that ScreaM is constantly carrying his average teammates. On the other hand, if we look at C9 Tenz we see that his impact wasn't as great as ScreaM's. So if we see ScreaM on a better team he'd most likely win everything.
ScreaM > Tenz all the way for me.
shahzam and sick especially have always been the impact players on sentinels. We saw a godlike performance out of shahzam in iceland, but usually it's sick who makes all the best plays happen.
I'm not a massive football fan at all but cause of the European championship I can't help but make a comparison to Kevin De Bruyne. He won't be scoring all your goals, but he'll create so much space and get the right assists and passes to make his team win.
Yup i totally agree that scream > tenz. Scream came second according to the stats. And all the stats of tenz and scream was so close even though scream played less. But yes tenz is not so far. The difference is so close that both of them has an impact on every match. But Scream just edges out. But saying Scream is the best in the world does not mean he can win every match. His team needs to be good or just need to support him when he dies early in the round. Sentinels overall has the best individually skilled players on a team right now. So adding tenz there just means adding Scream. Btw ScreaM is called "HEADSHOT MACHINE" for a reason. You can look at the stats of headshot percentage and ScreaM has the highest with 35% thats insane man. And no one is even close to 30%.
Tenz is also super good but being surrounded by better players makes you less likely to die from angles or positions your teammates expect to cover you from.
The problem surrounding ScreaM is that his teammates are not even close to being as consistent as Sentinels were throughout the entire tournament, which is essentially the reason why Sentinels stood out against all other teams, consistency. We saw ScreaM perform consistently throughout all of his games but Valorant's a game of 5, not 1. Even if you were the very best in the world but surrounded by trash you wouldn't be able to win.
Shitty example but just take a look at Cristiano and Messi in football, arguably the best footballers, whenever they're surrounded by mediocre/bad/inconsistent players they're not able to deliver even if they're playing fine.
In the end they still lost precisely because of the whiff you're talking about. That's exactly my point. One alone couldn't do what you're supposed to be doing with a full squad because arguably his teammates held it back.
It was just a shitty example as I pointed out tho, no need to find a thorough analysis on it.
Tenz was nervous, it seemed to me like that and If you count out few instances where tenz and scream both whiffed/choked. Tenz will be the better of two just because of the team play he has. I even think tenz has better reflexes and is better at flicking. Overall I would say tenz is slightly better than scream. These are just opinions no hate to scream he is great and we know him for his juan taps.
i think what hes trying to say is that tenz has a better internal clock and a better understanding of where enemies are on the map, he has a better understanding of timings and can more easily read his opponents plays and movements. however scream has more experience playing tac shooters so i think its hard to say that tenz has a better game sense but i think everything else he brought up is fair. i think tenz is the best entry frag in NA, if not the world, and because he plays duelists and makes flashy plays people dont see the "team play" side of his game, but in truth his entries and lurking help to open up the map for his teammates and give reliable info to make calls. similarly i think tenz has the skill to play any agent that is required but due to his aim and multi kill potential putting him on an agent that rewards aggression and frags, like reyna, is the obvious choice. overall i think tenz and scream are the 2 best players in the world for me and right now its impossible to say which is better. we've only seen one international lan for valorant so its too early in the game to say one is better than the other
TenZ is known to have motivation problems. He did once in CSGO and when the batton was passed unto him in C9 Valorant he failed to do so. I feel like he is more of a journeyman player and give this shroud feel that does one thing amazing then disappears. He feels like what n0thing was in 1.6. ScreaM will be the consistent one in the future.

When he was in C9 carrying, people always said he is not the best because he wasn't winning tournaments or Wardell was better than him.
When he joined Sentinels, it was SicK who was better than him even though TenZ was playing on bad ping and now that SicK didn't perform at Masters on Lan, it's Shahzam who is better.
TenZ is now winning tournaments like they wanted but its because of his team because apparently he doesn't exist in the team, only the other 4 do. He wins MVP of the tournament by getting the highest INDIVIDUAL stats in almost every category but no, everyone below him is better because Scream doesn't have as good a team even though Scream didn't perform as good against Fnatic or V1 like TenZ did against Fnatic and Nuturn but stfu.
TenZ will always be put down by people when he is ahead just as much as he is over praised by people as a god who can't make mistakes
An easy argument against this idea that Scream did better than TenZ at Iceland is if SEN did have such a better team over TL, then TenZ shouldn't be able to get as many kills and impact the round as much. There's only a certain amount of kills you can get per round. Yet TenZ placed first in the majority of stats.
Scream did great, but to look at the results. It's really hard to say he did better. And it's not like Scream doesn't have a cast around him that is good in it own right, they were EU's number 1 seed. Jampii did solid with the 12th highest ACS of the Master. L1NK got the 15th highest.
Saying Scream did better than TenZ is reaching I'd honestly say he would be 4th in the MVP race. Behind TenZ, Derke, and Shahzam.
