One of my favorite coworkers who I was somewhat close to heard about Andrew Tate and started making a lot of the same jokes (they call it dark humor but it's really just them saying fucked up shit). Soon after, his behavior towards me completely changed and our interactions ended with him calling me a slur (he unsurprisingly got fired after disrespecting our female supervisor). Even worse, my sibling who had finally somewhat accepted my sexuality fell into an Andrew Tate follower echo-chamber and began saying I "wasn't a real man" and refused to leave me alone. It ended with my sibling and my parents coercing me to go to a "healing retreat" where people tried to convince me I could pray the gay away if I solved my childhood issues (hello modern day conversion therapy). I say all of that just to stand by you in showing some of these people that Andrew Tate's words have real affects on our lives and him having "a couple good takes" doesn't make up for the devastating destruction the rest of his words dole out.
