so most teams are already in seoul i assume? heard fnc got bootcamp as well

Champs 2024: 1 Aug - 25 Aug.
I will be keeping track/updating & bumping it everyday once it starts.
Please help to bump also when the time comes.
Champs opening matches:
4 EMEA vs. 4 CN
4 Americas vs. 4 Pacific.
What are the chances jeez.
Group of Death will be fun to watch tho.
About to go crazy.
Korean’s production don’t miss.
Anyone know how the grouping/format works?
——————
4 Groups, 16 teams.
I assume, for each group:
Is this correct?
If KRU loses their match against LEV, SEN qualifies.
This 100T vs SEN match does not even matter if that happens.
Upcoming DSG Masterclass
funny if they are trying to make a living? lol ok
Damn right you should bring back Demon1
TLN allegedly tactically threw their game against ZETA so that they can avoid Gen.G no matter what in the play-offs, I repeat, allegedly (so RRQ got the short end of the stick to face Gen.G). And they also had X-factor Primmie last min. So yeah, technically two tactical moves (if the former was true) to make Champs. It is what it is tho, since they already made it and Primmie can be exciting to watch if he ended up performing.
As for FPX, heard that they are experimenting new comps and all since they are already qualified.
DSG 2 - 0 ELV
Toast will be fuming if DSG loses to their ex-teammate Riza once again lol.
Previously they lost 10-13 & 14-16 to ELV.
This time, Vera will clear their lineage.
then you just need to pray for KRU/C9 to lose every single game.
If LEV throws, whoever (100T/SEN/G2) wins 1 game will qualify for Champs guaranteed.
LEV — 12pts
SEN — 12pts
100T — 11pts
G2 — 11pts
KRU — 8pts
C9 — 6pts
Best Case (Simplest Path)
LEV win against KRU/C9, AND KRU/C9 losses (eliminated) in the lower bracket.
LEV/SEN/100T/G2 qualifies for Champs (Loser of 100T/SEN match qualifies by pts)
Just know that if LEV loses their first game against KRU/C9, everyone will be f*cked since KRU/C9 taking one of the top 4 spots will make it real messy.
Stage 2 Grand Final in order:
China GF (20 July)
EMEA GF (21 July, 7 hours after EMEA)
Pacific GF (21 July, 16 hours after EMEA)
Americas GF (22nd July, 13 hours after Pacific)
Champs starting from Aug 2 onwards.
I don’t see the “advantage” you’re talking of when it’s within 1-2 days lol. (Don’t talk things out of ur ahh to instigate).
The only difference is the regions’ scheduling between their Stage 2 Upper Final and Grand-Final (Pacific has 1 week break in-between).
But that has nothing to do with how Champs will play out.
As for travelling, teams always need to travel, don’t be dumb.
PRX vs. TLN matchups have always been the clearest display of players diff (entire 2024).
Primmie is just 1 guy at the end of the day, he can’t do much when his team don’t shoot back.
I’m more worried that TLN will ruin Primmie’s confidence tbh
They have been player diffing TLN the whole year so it’s expected.
As for how they play against GenG, it looked like they were trying to overcompensate for their discipline issue in Shanghai by defaulting like other teams, but they suck at it and look predictable asf tbh.
Today they brought back more of their aggro plays, but I guess they really need to figure out how to balance the two to be a solid team.
If this is true I’m curious about hfmi0dzjc9z7
Honestly hope he dominates the duels, even tho I’m supporting PRX.
This year imo, but we can agree to disagree since it matters not.
Their most competitive form this year, still struggling with attack tho (arguably can also be due to Gen.G being good at defense tho).
i didn’t check i heard the casters said it so idk
1000 kills in 25 matches
congrats the goat
Map 2, yeahh this is just some crazy team diff.
Primmie did what he could but this is starting to feel just like oxy and friends…
nahh you’re actually cringe for making up lies like this
Bland sums it up perfectly, they definitely need more flavor.
Idk whether they are saving strats or not (I doubt so) but lately their games haven’t been as fun if I’m being completely honest.
Not becuz they lost, but becuz they didn’t seem to be making new innovative plays (which was what made PRX fun to watch in the first play).
I was lowkey expecting them to experiment with new comps and all but they just run the same comps/strats.
Still supporting them, but hopefully they really have something up for Champs (and I hope they have at least experimented with new plays on scrims).
Hiding their trump card as much as possible to prevent getting anti-ed?
TLN with their tactical move again (if this is true).
I like it because it’s better for the overall placements, let’s say one team meets one of the strongest team in the event and got eliminated in a single-elim format, they don’t get the chance to play with other teams from another group so you can’t technically say that they are inferior to the others.
So its better to have another chance to prove themselves.
At the end of the day, if they are champion material, they will make it thru all the way.
Fill me in which teams and players are looking good / to take notice of, since I dun watch any CN games.
(The last I saw was FPX vs. TH and they looked quite competitive as well)
Only those who actually watch their games pls, no naysayers thx
why cant people cheer for a team without putting another team down
not that deep
let people have their moments, its good and fun for the val scene to have a rising prospect, whether to witness his rise or fall.
bait = b8
therefore 0/8 is like bad bait.
FNS didn’t get #1 Radiant for 8/25 Acts since the launch of valorant.
picking abyss and having 3 different players falling off the map is crazy ngl
Primmie does it again! (If he plays).
top 4 teams already confirmed, and they are the top 4 in points as well, so no matter what the one who loses out will go thru points
where’s ur source that they barely speak english??
according to crws primmie speaks good english (but by english speakers should be at least decent)
