thanks, but they didn’t show who gave the call to push for kangkang’s 4k guardian :|

posted 3 months ago

Nahh GenG didn’t burnt out, SEN just had one hell of a series, winning all the clutches, pistols, and bonuses. GenG didn’t even played that poorly if you look at their macro calls, like do you rmb any moment of them being outcalled significantly? It was more like they lost almost every duels and clutches and thats just how it is. As for SEN burnt out, people were saying that becuz SEN players themselves said they were a lil burnout, but GenG didn’t say that themselves, so don’t anyhow make up excuse for them. They lost simply becuz they weren’t shooting as well as SEN that day.

yay’s take:
EU — Most toxic
APAC — Hardest
NA — still pretty hard, comms are much better here

shouldn’t shrug off edg just becuz they didn’t do well in masters this year, becuz s1mon only joined after shanghai, his first internationals is champions and they won it. their performance in champs was solely worthy enough to be in top 3 teams this year, maybe one thing is we didn’t get to see them face off against geng so we dk how it could have went, but they did beat SEN instead

posted 3 months ago

classic case of can’t bringing yourself to congratulate edg for their win, so choose to redirect and instigate shit instead. apac is happy that cn won, nothing more. don’t bring your own regional ego nonsense and try to pollute other regions bum

Those haters are just people who can’t find themselves congratulating EDG for their win, so they have to redirect to clown on TH instead, actual bums lol.
TH was entertaining to watch throughout, CN/KR crowd loves them even when they eliminated their teams, so that says a lot.

posted 3 months ago

if fracture & pearl back it will be another uncharted territories for teams, but hopefully the current strong teams keeps it up then it’d be a fun year

very happy for kangkang, he played insane.

posted 3 months ago

LFG EDG!!! love their passion and energy, well fcking played, well deserved! so happy for kangkang, such a fucking insane series he played.
ggwp heretics, and congrats EDG!

posted 3 months ago

this is the pure valorant we needed, celebrate greatness, crowd went crazy with that play

posted 3 months ago

I want to see kangkang’s reaction much more if they win, it will be cinema.

posted 3 months ago

it is what it is, his current attitude is more like if you don’t like the stream, leave. becuz he already made it, rich asf, still has the largest viewership valorant twitch streamer (not as much as before) but still enough to have the bags, so doesn’t care + he has the sen clout viewership at the end of day as his backup. he values his irl personal connections more.

i still toggle to his stream every now and then, but if i don’t like when the guests are yapping i just change stream, it is what it is really.

posted 3 months ago

at some point he went with the “we are not here to simply watch the games, but also to vibe, etc” narrative and it just wasn’t the same anymore with most of his guests
downfall really

1st time seeing them getting demolished on sunset ngl

posted 3 months ago

crowd were cheering loudly for kangkang in his previous games tho, its just a matter of them liking TH more in this case i guess, let’s not overreact to think its hate

posted 3 months ago

patience

posted 3 months ago

idk but i’d say its definitely more than a million, kangkang’s streams averages 200k viewers each time (when converted from heat index), so i’d expect some crazy numbers from CN for gf

posted 3 months ago

yes, they are the only two teams (alongside) with GenG that I have it as S Tier this year, but I wouldn’t mind if EDG wins it too.

posted 3 months ago

EDG v TH for grandfinals!
I’m happy since I was rooting for both of them throughout, well deserved!

posted 3 months ago

???
the crowd was good today, it was packed and most importantly they were loud even though none of their korean teams made it there

Top 4 bump. What a game TH v DRX. Icebox was insane to watch.

posted 4 months ago

Quite interesting no?

SEN v FNC — It has been so long since they’ve last played each other officially, tho they’d have scrimmed against each other during their recent bootcamp.

TH v DRX — First time playing against each other, DRX also have a revenge storyline going for Gen.G (which was unsuccessful against SEN).

This could be exciting.

posted 4 months ago

TH & GENG are the only two teams that I’m genuinely impressed with this year and I’ll put them at S Tier.
SEN I’m just not too sold on, maybe becuz they weren’t as consistent imo.

Bump.

I think the point is fnc actually gamba stacked aggro a site to make a play/to pick off that 1 guy (lurker), sure it did played out worse in the end, but they could’ve have some winning chances if it did worked out. As for how they managed to plant the spike, it was very hindsight, but it was more on alfa’s error imo, he was not with the stack and was late in jumping off resulting in the spike being planted first. Also another difference was g2 was already down 9-4 while in fnc’s case it was only 0-1, I mean ppl should still respect g2’s decision to jump off since they deemed it as their most optimal play at the moment but it is what it is. All that fined/disrespectful yap was an overreaction for sure tho.

timestamp for the fnc’s round:

I’ve already said my piece if you read it.

posted 4 months ago

I disagree with the disrespectful, fined, yada yada take, like it’s not that serious bro.
But I do agree that G2 could’ve taken a different approach, like stacking a site or setting a trap for 1 kill etc, and then deciding to jump off depending on how it plays out, especially since they are already down 9-4 and eco rounds are technically still winnable.
But at the same time it’s perfectly fine for G2 to do what they did since they thought that was their most optimal play at the moment, so he has no right no fault them and should ironically respect the play they made.

Day 11 bump. Not counting same region matches.

posted 4 months ago

I hope SEN plays well (regardless if they win or lose), better not be them having their life game against Gen.G and getting swept in playoffs.
That would be such a troll.

posted 4 months ago

this makes it more valid now, elimination lower bracket would 100% have different regions against each other and that would certainly be more exciting, good point.

posted 4 months ago

I just realised if Gen.G won they would go against DRX and it would be 4 regional matchups for the openings (now it’s 3 thanks to DRX v SEN)
Shouldn’t regional matchups be avoided as the first priority then followed by the same group thing?
Like the point of internationals is for teams to play with teams they don’t usually get to play against with? Idk man…

Thoughts?
