Officially the biggest Mickey mouse tourney yet.
No wonder they won when their biggest competitors were a bunch of tier 2 players in a brand new team.

Sayf's back must be hurting after all that carrying.
Been a while since I've seen a player carry a team this hard. Don't get me wrong, his teammates are amazing as well but without Sayf, they wouldn't have qualified for playoffs, yet alone beat TH.
Amazing player!
It's funny how even in the Japanese region, the south korean players dominate.
I love how this team went from utter dominance in 2023 to a terrible performance in 2024.
And now, they looking in very good shape. Not to mention that they're incredibly satisfying to watch!
All 5 players coming up with amazing plays.
My expectations are high for them going into Champions
GenG v Fnatic... Oh boy
Hiro has obviously been an amazing addition to Fnatic!
He's been popping off and has exceeded my expectations as a FNC fan.
But let's not forget that Leo was FNC's carry this year when the rest of the team has trouble performing.
So...
Should Leo replace one of the players?
I mean c'mon... When you've got players like Karon, Meteor and t3xture on your team, it's difficult not to win.
These guys win their duels and outplay most players in the league consistently.
Had no clue who the guy was.
I got to say, his performance was quite impressive today! Having him on the team definitely put Talon a tier higher than they were before
MIBR or Bleed. Not even close
I do think MIBR is worse just because Bleed has been pushing back near the end
I know right! It's frustrating... they go 6-0 and then end 7-5? Cmon!
Or 5-1 and then end 6-6
I agree, they are quite consistent with their performance at international events and play-offs.
I do think 2023 Fnatic/EG and 2022 Loud for example are way better tho. I guess it depends how they perform in Champions to change my overall opinion of them when compared to the other teams.
If they make it to the finals or top 4, they def have the cleanest run in VCT history
I know, doesn't make it any less sad for the enemy team losing a 3v5
I miss Pearl so much... I love watching people play that map
Nah, I'll just swap to one of the other teams I'm rooting for since GenG will be out
Hear me out... I'm a big GenG fan and they have been the best team this year. Made it to every finals in international events.
But I don't think this will be an "easy" win for them. RRQ has been performing quite well this stage.
I still think GenG will win but it'll be a tough battle. I guess we'll see, either way, this will be an AMAZING match!
My only issues with the teams this year is the lack of consistency.
In 2023, Fnatic and EG were on top. You'd expect them to win all their matches. This year, no matter how good the team is, I always expect them to choke xD
Actual insane player!
Would love to see him in T1 next year
That would not surprise me. TS is good and have some great games but their lack of consistency says enough about their chances
The difference is... Chronicle got his trophies during peak valorant years. t0nz got his trophies in two mickey mouse tourneys
The guy has got to be the most overrated player of all time with all his 14yo fanboys
GEN.G
TH
PRX
SEN
LEV
Interesting... I can't decide between wow and meh.
There's something off about the center area
Players like Victor, s0m and FNS are not VCT worthy
They don't have the consistency and skill for it
I had very high expectations for this team. Great players on paper with crazy potential but... they kept on disappointing
Since the qualified teams for Play-Offs have already been locked in, are the matches in the following days irrelevant to anything apart from the teams playing and having fun?
Relax buddy, it's not that serious
TS isn't a bad team, they're pretty strong but... the only reason they won yesterday was because GenG played like sht.
They likely won't qualify for Champions and even if they do, they'll won't make it anywhere. Nothing against them, they just lack consistency and the skill
Loud, Fnc, SEN
I'm not a fan of the SEN pick but the fact that they've got such a large fanbase makes it the best option
EMEA: TH v FNC (TH Win)
Americas: SEN v G2 (SEN Win)
Pacific: GenG v PRX (PRX Win)
China: FPX v EDG (FPX Win)
TH and PRX feel like obvious finalists for their region.
G2 look good but not convinced yet... tho I don't watch a lot of Americas.
FNC and SEN have been looking good this stage so I feel confident but I would not be surprised if they choked.
Despite GenG's dominant performance in 2024 so far, this stage has been looking kinda rough and close. I hope they do what they do and show dominant strength when it truly matters.
FPX and EDG felt like obvious choice but with their recent loses/poor performances against these weaker teams, I'm not convinced.
GenG was playing horribly. Losing duels no1 should lose and lacking that common gamesense for some reason
How are they playing this bad. Losing the easiest kills and rounds
They're 6 rounds in... and we're talking about GenG here.
Their whole signature move is to suck on map 1 and then destroy on map 2 and 3
Wtf was that second round from GenG... I've never seen such a weak buy in a 2nd round after winning pistol.
His career has been surprisingly underwhelming.
No matter what team he's been in, he's always a force to be reckoned with. His consistency and mastery of this game is scary and not many players meet that skill level.
I'm just surprised he's never had a big win.
Their fans act like 12year old children. I feel sorry for his fans that are associated with that, yet don't behave like the rest.
I'd rather go with 2023. It was absolutely amazing
Both tier 1 and 2 was top tier
Is this real or a joke? Pretty cool if it's real but a shame that he's not in tier 1

Problem with G2 is they lack any form of team play. They rely heavily on individual performance and 1v3/5 man clutches to win.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing if you've team play but just relying on that doesn't get you to win anything
