Hear me out... I'm a big GenG fan and they have been the best team this year. Made it to every finals in international events.
But I don't think this will be an "easy" win for them. RRQ has been performing quite well this stage.
I still think GenG will win but it'll be a tough battle. I guess we'll see, either way, this will be an AMAZING match!

My only issues with the teams this year is the lack of consistency.
In 2023, Fnatic and EG were on top. You'd expect them to win all their matches. This year, no matter how good the team is, I always expect them to choke xD

Oh... you don't know xD

There is a way GenG loses to RRQ.

Awww someone's crying : )

Actual insane player!
Would love to see him in T1 next year

That would not surprise me. TS is good and have some great games but their lack of consistency says enough about their chances

In a nutshell

The difference is... Chronicle got his trophies during peak valorant years. t0nz got his trophies in two mickey mouse tourneys
The guy has got to be the most overrated player of all time with all his 14yo fanboys

Y'all need to stop the copium

He's an amazing player, his team is just sht

Interesting... I can't decide between wow and meh.
There's something off about the center area

There's still 1 slot not decided yet

Players like Victor, s0m and FNS are not VCT worthy
They don't have the consistency and skill for it

posted 3 months ago

I had very high expectations for this team. Great players on paper with crazy potential but... they kept on disappointing

posted 3 months ago

Since the qualified teams for Play-Offs have already been locked in, are the matches in the following days irrelevant to anything apart from the teams playing and having fun?

posted 3 months ago

Relax buddy, it's not that serious

posted 3 months ago

TS isn't a bad team, they're pretty strong but... the only reason they won yesterday was because GenG played like sht.
They likely won't qualify for Champions and even if they do, they'll won't make it anywhere. Nothing against them, they just lack consistency and the skill

Loud, Fnc, SEN
I'm not a fan of the SEN pick but the fact that they've got such a large fanbase makes it the best option

EMEA: TH v FNC (TH Win)
Americas: SEN v G2 (SEN Win)
Pacific: GenG v PRX (PRX Win)
China: FPX v EDG (FPX Win)

TH and PRX feel like obvious finalists for their region.
G2 look good but not convinced yet... tho I don't watch a lot of Americas.
FNC and SEN have been looking good this stage so I feel confident but I would not be surprised if they choked.
Despite GenG's dominant performance in 2024 so far, this stage has been looking kinda rough and close. I hope they do what they do and show dominant strength when it truly matters.
FPX and EDG felt like obvious choice but with their recent loses/poor performances against these weaker teams, I'm not convinced.

GenG was playing horribly. Losing duels no1 should lose and lacking that common gamesense for some reason

posted 3 months ago

How are they playing this bad. Losing the easiest kills and rounds

Zekk0n

posted 3 months ago

They're 6 rounds in... and we're talking about GenG here.
Their whole signature move is to suck on map 1 and then destroy on map 2 and 3

posted 3 months ago

Wtf was that second round from GenG... I've never seen such a weak buy in a 2nd round after winning pistol.

Weird post.

His career has been surprisingly underwhelming.
No matter what team he's been in, he's always a force to be reckoned with. His consistency and mastery of this game is scary and not many players meet that skill level.
I'm just surprised he's never had a big win.

Their fans act like 12year old children. I feel sorry for his fans that are associated with that, yet don't behave like the rest.

I'd rather go with 2023. It was absolutely amazing
Both tier 1 and 2 was top tier

Is this real or a joke? Pretty cool if it's real but a shame that he's not in tier 1

Problem with G2 is they lack any form of team play. They rely heavily on individual performance and 1v3/5 man clutches to win.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing if you've team play but just relying on that doesn't get you to win anything

In 2024, everything

That was one HELL of a way to win a game!
Impressive af!

Valorant is far from dead...
It's quite simple to see which games are going down the drain and Valorant isn't one of them.

posted 3 months ago

Fair point but be thankful the game you're playing is owned by riot games and not Blizzard, EA etc.
Yes, riot is also sht and far from perfect but it's still the lesser evil

posted 3 months ago

Meh, that match didn't mean anything. I don't think they won anything from this

posted 3 months ago

Did EDG lose 2-0 because they didn't play well with their new player or was DRG that good? I couldn't watch the game

posted 3 months ago

So if I understand correctly, the team with the most points from each region gets qualified, regardless of ranking in play-off as the 4th team.
And the top 3 in play-offs get qualified.
Am I wrong or missing something?

GenG v TS will be very entertaining.
TS has been looking really good. And last time they went against each other, it was a real close game.
Tho GenG has improved a lot since then so I do think it'll be a win for them.

As for DRX v Talon, idk. Both teams are crazy inconsistent. Will be a painful game to watch as I expect a lot of choking from both sides

TenZ is easily top 10... weakest player in VCT

No...

"I made a mistake and made this in americas time and they are not the brightest so again"
This made me laugh.

posted 3 months ago

I don't think it's a problem... I feel like players just struggle to stay at the top when you've got constant new talent popping up and getting the better of them. And imo, it's good. Makes it even more impressive when a top tier player manages to stay at the top.
Eitherway, I still feel like some of the players mentioned here aren't really washed. They may not be performing their best but that doesn't mean they're washed. I'm sure most will make a comeback. And those who don't... oh well

posted 3 months ago

Looking at how well 2023 Tier 2 players are doing this year, what are some players you'd recommend checking out with great potential of performing in VCT 2025

That's a funny joke
