Putting Sacy and TenZ on this list is such a joke
They are doing good. Some other korean teams are doing better but you can't ever count T1 out when it really matters.
I mean, they won the last S tier tournament, even though the EWC was a joke for most.
What I'm really worried about is unlike last year where some of the top EU/NA teams were able to win against #3 or #4 of LCK, this year these teams seem way too stacked.
KR is definetely winning this year's Worlds again. Would not surprise me with a KR v KR Grand Finals
A quite boring Champions compared to previous years.
To each their own though. I'm glad most people are enjoying it!
I'm excited for 2025! So much amazing talent coming into the scene this year!
This year was pretty terrible for Valorant eSports.
An incredibly weak and inconsistent performance from every single team.
It feels terrible to go from the amazing scene of 2023 to what we have now
True, EMEA is on top!
G2 or TH are the obvious choices.
SEN, DRX and LEV feel way too inconsistent but hey, anything is possible at this point.
Lot's of upsets happening
The team I like the most v the team I dislike the most.
It'd be a bummer if they lost but hey, that's valorant.
Ew not the french... that doesn't count
The fact that a SEN flair is saying this is extremely ironic
Return to form? They beat FUT... that's not much of an accomplishment
Probably the worst team in Champions
Useless matchup
Both teams are clearly terrible with 0 consistency
Most toxic fanbase:
PRX, SEN, LOUD, Gentle M8's
Vitality is a Trexx and Co. on a bad day.
Vitality is a Trexx, Sayf and Co. on a good day
Trexx seems to always perform well, even when his team doesn't.
And then there's Sayf. He'll either choke or go on a 30/5 KD
They both carry this team ngl. Trexx more consistently but Sayf is still there
I think it would be a bit better but TS is not consistent enough to make it far in an international tournament like Champions.
This goes for teams like FUT, Talon, KRU etc
Problem with both TS and Talon is they're too inconsistent.
One day TS will annihilate GenG and the next they'll lose against RRQ or T1. Or struggle against a team like GE and Bleed
Yep, not a fluke.
Trace just played incredibly well. Proved us what they're capable of
They are.
We all know what they're capable of. Especially when trexx and Sayf wake up
People just like to criticize when a team loses.
Don't get me wrong, they won't win Champions or make it to the Grand Finals but them making it to Play Offs is still a very real possibility
Oh damn... I totally forgot about the script!
Which remaining teams do you think will make it to playoffs?
My picks:
GenG (Seems like an easy win for them)
FNC (FNC but... KRU has been performing well and FNC against DRX was weak. Conflicted)
LEV (Talon and VIT can surprise us and I am expecting it but unless that happens, LEV seems like the obvious pick. Talon did do very well against LEV though)
PRX (Hopium because of what I know PRX can do. FUT is too inconsistent and I don't have faith in them. EDG v PRX feels like it'll be anyone's game IF PRX bounces back. Otherwise, gg to EDG)
People tend to cry over everything
One day their team beats another team and that team is "the best in the world and they'll win it all"
But the next day they'll have a bad day and lose and all of a sudden "they are sht, they never should've made it to champions. Washed players"
The answer is simple. Most people are trash and given the means and opportunity to do something they shouldn't but want to do, they'll end up doing it.
Unfortunately, when you've got money and power, more often than not you tend to get away with it.
They won two international trophies. Lock-in being arguably one of the most entertaining and competitive tournament yet
Had like... 4 or 5 losses the entire year.
Made it 4th at Champions
How does that NOT make them one of the most dominant. Only team that even comes close is GenG this year.
Considering the fact that they've been #1 and #2 all year long means they're clear contenders to taking that #1 spot above FNC.
BUT you're a SEN fan so the reply makes sense
You're probably the only one who thinks that
I know we all expect GenG to beat SEN but at this point, anything can happen.
So if GenG doesn't qualify for PlayOffs, do we all agree that Fnatic 2023 would still be the team with the most dominant year in VCT history?
They def will destroy SEN
They're looking very strong and can definitely beat GenG but it'll be tough.
I'm giving it a 60% chance of W to GenG and 40% to FPX
The bottom few doesn't matter to me. As for the top teams, this tier list is pretty accurate.
SEN is way too high up though. FPX will easily beath them
As for GenG, I still think in the long run (rest of this tournament), GenG will perform better than TH overall.
Though GenG v TH in grand finals would not surprise me at all
It really doesn't... they head into Madrid. Their biggest competitors were a bunch of rookies and tier2 players.
Not to mention the fact that none of these players had any previous experience playing together as opposed to SEN.
"I never had anything against SEN but damn I hope they lose so the chat can be healed"
From: Random guy on twitch
He's a mood
Having SEN out of this tournament will be such a breath of fresh air for everyone.
We'll finally be rid of the toxic 12yo SEN fans
That is very true but if it works for them, then I don't think they care if it's fun to watch.
Antarctica is clearly the best region. Let's get real for a second here
There's nothing more satisfying than hearing all the SEN fans cry
t3xture, Meteor and Leo
They're all amazing players and so kind and likeable
It's scripted. Always has been
MiBR v GE in the Grand Finals
